These guys seriously under promote themselves. A particularly informative tour. I also took the option to stop off at the military museum and be collected later.

Non-stop information throughout this 80 minute tour. Terrific guide. Travel in an original 1940s Studebaker military transport vehicle. Breezy and comfortable. Excellent sound quality so its easy to hear what the guide is saying. Lots to see around Darwin. The time flew by because it was so enjoyable. One of the best tourist activities in Darwin. Great value

Hubby and I timed it perfectly to join the 11.30am tour of the city sights in the back of the WW11 1941/42 Studebaker Army Truck. It was an interesting and fun way to see the sights and the Tour Guide was very knowledgeable, although it was difficult to hear all the commentary with the noise of the engine and the road traffic. The Tour dealt mainly with the Japanese bombing of Darwin in WW11 and also Cyclone Tracy in 1974. Various buildings were pointed out to us as we passed.

This is a great way to travel about to see some of Darwin's sites and hear about the history of the areas in and around the city. The tour guide shared interesting facts and stories about Darwin's wartime history as well as its more recent history.

We went on the last trip for the day. There were four of us plus our driver. We started off going around the City and waving to people in cafes as we past. Our guide and driver was a very knowledgeable man, the information he gave us about certain buildings and also what to look out for eg bullet holes in fences left over from WW2 and disused run ways it was amazing. This is such a worthwhile trip to take, even if it just transports you back to the War years for a short while.
