Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went here twice to enjoy different dining experiences. It is a lovely quiet and peaceful marina where you can dine whilst watching the boats gently rock. Numerous dining options. Ferry terminal and the Cove has its own locks for those who have never seen them work. Bonus is the hop on / hop off bus stops in Cullen Cove.

Nice place to visit. Walk around, sit on the beach and eat fish and chips. Yotz is a great Taverna/Restaurant always consistent with good food, value for money. Ebb & Flow was good a nice vegetarian restaurant which unfortunately closed up shop.

You can easily find yourself lost in your imagination, for at least half a day, as you stroll around the Cullen Bay Marina, snack on some food, sip a few drinks, and observe your surroundings

If you arrive in the evening, the area will usually be flowing with people and cars--but you can always locate a spot in the overflow carpark, near the roundabout that separates the apartments from the retail outlets. On the opposite side of the road from the Marina, you should be able to locate the Cullen Bay beach. The beach will be teeming with people relaxing on the grass, perhaps listening to a band in a small, open amphitheatre, climbing the rocks on either side, eating fish and ships, or frolicking in the sea--although the latter is not a great idea between September and March, unless your superpowers help you avoid stingers and possibly crocs. The atmosphere during the sunset is serene.

When you cross Marina Boulevard, you will be welcomed with another suite of bars and restaurants, all facing the marina. Some people spend hours staring at the marina--a meandering lake that is encircled by majestic houses--or throwing bread into the water, to watch the fish converge and scale the surface to prevail over their rivals. Lola Pergola's, the main bar on the water, is usually bristling with excitement. Some cafes, like Boatshed, only open in the day, but provide bread for children to attract the fish.

If you want more, you can always head to the end of Marina Boulevard, where you will find the jetty. You could even catch a ferry to the opposite side of the habour in Mandorah, about 20 minutes away by boat. Or, you could walk in the opposite direction, about 5 to 7 minutes, and find the back entrance to Little Mindel beach, one of the most relaxing beaches in the area.

We used the Hop on Hop Off bus to drop us off at the ferry terminal. The water was a beautiful blue and very inviting until the heads of four crocodiles raised their heads ! There are a lot of restaurants along the wharf and we went to the Korean restaurant where the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Love Cullen Bay, such a relaxing spot with enough restaurants to keep you well fed for a few days. The area is clean and feels very safe. An easy 10 minute commute to town using escooters.
