Highly recommend this tour. The Jumping Crocs on the Adelaide River were great and made better by the super host Captain Dylan. The rest of the tour saw beautiful swimming holes, stunning waterfalls and brilliant commentary from our tour guide Will. Could not have had a better day. Must do

The tour guide we had was Will. He was funny and had a great in-depth knowledge of the NT. He was able to suggest places to eat and visit. We went on the much preferred Adelaide River Cruise (you will get a better experience with the company and closer to the crocs). Then went to 3 amazing swimming spots with stops along the way. I grew up in Darwin (then moved away a few years back) and would highly suggest to anyone to come on this trip rather than going on your own. Having someone guide you means that you get to find out spots the great spots that the locals (and amazing tour guides) know about. You don't have to worry about packing food and you can nap while someone else has to drive. Also the AC is amazing in the bus. You couldn't ask for more!

We went on the tour yesterday and we had Will as our tour guide. Fantastic experience, very well organised and really lots of fun!
Our daughter is 9 years old and she absolutely loved it…..as did myself and my wife. Will was excellent, informative and with humour.

Just finished the day tour with the amazing tour guide, Sasha! I had a wonderful time and met some great people. This was DEFINITELY worth the money. Seeing the jumping crocs was so cool and the swimming spots in the national park were beautiful!!! And Sasha was such a great tour guide - she’s super friendly, very energetic and enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable about the area and everything we saw. Would definitely recommend this tour.

We did the Litchfield day tour on 13th October . We had a good day but it didn't quite live up to expectations . The tour is advertised as including visits to Florence Falls, Buley water hole, Tolmer falls and Wangi falls, and as finishing about 6.30. In the event we didn't go to the last two and were back in Darwin by 5.30. We spent a lot of time, just at the other two falls, (where the guide seemed to disappear off with a couple of young girls and apparently painted their faces with ochre) and at the lunch and tea stop. The jumping crocodile boat trip was excellent , although this is run by another company, and the picnic lunch was pretty good. We were disappointed not to be able to explore Wangi falls and the broad walks there. Given the price the tour was reasonable value for money , but we felt a little short changed by the reduced itinerary.

Had a really good day out with Brad, a professional tour guide and jokester. We chose Litchfield over Kakadu because we only had 1 day to devout and Kakadu is just too far. It was a fair consolation prize, but I still really want to see Kakadu!
The jumping croc cruise was amazing and not to be missed if you've never seen crocs before! The Adelaide River is absolutely swarming with them, and the tour boat is very big and sturdy so it's not a scary experience at all. Pro tip: Sit on the lower level (everybody is naturally inclined to head to the top) and sit in the middle, where the window opens. You'll be mere feet from the crocs! Perfect for photos and seeing every nook and cranny on their body.
You get to hold a snake and eat toast before the cruise departs...you can't top that combo! Another pro tip: Don't put on any sunblock or insect repellent first thing in the morning or when you first get on the bus. Wait until after you've held the snake so you don't harm it. You can even wait until after the croc cruise, as the boat is perfectly shaded (there's even fans and air con on board).
Tolmer Falls was closed so we couldn't make that stop, but we made the rest of the stops. It was never rushed and we got a decent amount of time at each site (because there aren't tons of them).
The market was on that day, so Brad dropped us off at the Mindil Beach Markets, which was much appreciated as we didn't have to bother with the time/expense of getting from town back out there.
From Darwin you could very easily drive yourself to all the sites of Litchfield National Park, as the roads are all sealed (paved) and sign posted. You would miss the commentary and local knowledge/expertise, though, and supporting local business. We're big on taking tours and letting others do the work/thinking/planning for us, and this tour fit the bill nicely!

I cannot swim but sure can doggie paddle. Loved every minute in the clear water. People are friendly and helpful.
If you get a good guide, which most of them are then it will be an educational day as well as a fun day. Enjoy.

We enjoyed the day trip to Litchfield today. First off we went to Adelaide River, Croc jumping. The guides Elina and TJ were very nice, very informative. We saw crocs they made them jump and we fed the birds on the way home. They answered all our questions and gave us interesting tit bits. Then it was off to Banyan tree were we enjoyed our delicious salad lunch. It gave us time to chat to our fellow travellers and find out about them. We had 12 on our trip and it was great. Mookie gave us clear directions and lots of info about the park you can tell she was very interested in conservation and the eco system. Once in the patk our first stop was Florence Falls, which were great, great swimming except I am scared of fish. The falls were amazing. Then off to Buleys Rock pool for another swim very different location, but just as lovely. A quick stop at the Termite mounds and then off home. Very full day as we started at 7am and arrived home round 6.30pm. I hv to say I wld reccommend this tour operator and our guide Mookie. The others on the tour were a bonus as they were very friendly. Thank you for a great day!!!

My sister and I went in this great tour 2 weeks ago and had Brad as the tour guide. Brad was funny and very knowledgeable and just a great tour guide and I've been on many tours in the NT and this was one of the best. It's a great day out with the jumping croc boat tour, termite mounds, lunch at a funky place and water holes were all great. Would go in this tour again
Thanks for making it a great one Brad
