Thanks to Skipper Mick and Deckie Sean, had a fantastic day fishing, even the seas were quite calm. It makes a huge difference when you have nice guys taking care of us to make sure we have a great day.
Food was great and very fresh and tasty.
Caught a nice amount of fish so everyone could take some home and very impressed with the guys cleaning up rubbish floating on the water. Great job guys and again thanks.

Great day out
Best Charter Ive been on. Captain Steve was great and Rachael the deckie was very hard working. Everyone on the boat caught fish, I think the average was about 5 each.

Booked this charter after a couple of other companies didn’t even answer our enquires. We did a half day afternoon charter. The skipper and deckie were great, the deckie never stopped working.
Very comfortable boat for fishing , good shade, clean easy access toilet. Fishing wasn’t going off but we caught a good snapper and a couple of other ‘non keepers’. Would recommend!

The price was 250for 1 day fishing lunch and drinks 6.30 am leave till 2 pm is not a days fishing 1 wrap is not lunch and no sign of drinks other than 2 big containers to fill your own bottle from 4 small fish caught all time out we moved around a fair bit but all very small fish .I caught 1 which was size but when we returned to shore. And I went to collect wow no fish when I asked deckie he sai oh I am sorry sir it must have got cut up for bait Not impressed

Went on this charter with 2 mates, who are both mad keen fishermen. Dropped anchor at the first spot, my mates thought the skipper would normally spend about 10 mins. ensuring he was in the exact spot he wanted....didn't happen. Fishing was very quiet. Tried another spot. Again very quiet. Then lo and behold, we lost the anchor. My mates were amazed there wasn't a backup anchor on board. The skipper thought we should try drift fishing, which was pretty well a waste of time. Main thing caught was snags. Returned to port an hour early. Expected to hear from the company offering a partial refund. Again, didn't happen. Perhaps it was just an off day. Pretty hard to recommend on my experience.

Very disappointing day, a lot of very small fish caught and released. I dont think the skipper tried very hard to put his customers onto good reef fishing. However his little female deck hand worked her butt off.

Myself and a few others went on a 5 hour Equinox fishing charter with Captain Mark and Deckhand James.
We all had a great time! Mark was funny, accommodating and happy to have chats and discuss all things Darwin and fishing.
Everything was clean and those who needed help baiting their hooks had nothing to worry about as James was right there to help (or do it for them!). The food was great as well.
Highly recommend.

a whole lot of fun and fish. Captain Steve is a character. Deck hand Rachael is an absolute gun, best in the business. we had a great day. Hard to find fish but the Captain worked hard to put us on the mark. I highly recommend this charter.

Woke before 5:45am to catch a taxi to the marina to wait around for about an hour only to find out that they had no record of our confirmed booking ! Catch another taxi back to the apartment to try and organise something for the day but to no avail. This completely stuffed our day as we couldn't go fishing and then we were not able to book any other tours on this our last full day in Darwin. So much for that great opportunity for my wife to experience her first fishing experience ! And not to mention a very, very disappointed daughter. We felt extremely let down by Equinox and the refund of the money was trite consolation for a missed experience. Suggest visitors to Darwin think seriously about which company to choose for their fishing experience !

I have never been on a fishing trip and so I was looking forward to experiencing this with my husband and daughter. We had set the clock for 5.30am so that we could catch a taxi in time to make it to the marina for the 6.30am start to our 7 hour trip which we had booked and confirmed. We arrived, we sat and we waited. Nothing. No other person around. No one setting up the boat for the trip no one in the office. At 7.15am my husband called the number shown on the office window. It seemed that the trip which we had confirmed only 2 days before was not running AND there was no record of our booking. Talk about disappointing! This was our last day in Darwin and our only opportunity to do a fishing tour. We later found out that our tour had been booked for October - nice thought but we won't be here then. So here we are with a day where we planned to do something for the whole day and now it's too late to find a substitute. The lady on the phone was nice but nothing can make up for the fact that the person who took our booking robbed us of something we had booked, confirmed and were looking forward to - very disappointing! BTW: no sweetener was given to us to apologise for this. Yes we will get our money back but no offer to cover the cost of the taxis there and back or anything....

Looking for a charter on one of the following dates March 22, 23 or 24 for two people. What will we fishing for and what areas? also how many will be on the boat . How much does it cost for a day.
