Located at Corroboree Billabong, only 90 mins drive from Darwin in the Northern Territory, Wildlands Wetlands Safari Cruises provide guided tours by river boat or airboat through a vast wetland. This magnificent wetland environment is home to a high concentration of crocodiles, many species of birds, beautiful flora and other wildlife that can be explored from the comfort of our vessels. Our simple concept is to treat every Safari departure as our first!

This was an awe inspiring experience, peaceful, informative and well organised. Our guide Jade was jut fantastic. She was waiting for us when we arrived at Corroboree Billabong and greeted us with a big smile. Jade was friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we were comfortable with ice cold water. Jade expertly navigated the billabong, pointing out the various wildlife and plants and teaching us so much. Booking the tour online was easy and it was great vale for money. I highly recommend this company and tour if visiting the Northern Territory.

This trip was the highlight of our holiday. Jake, our guide, was personable and very knowledgeable. He helped us spot crocodiles in and out of the water, and many different birds and plants. He had knowledge of the traditional owners Dreamtime and other stories concerning the things we saw, and of the the way they used the plants. There was plenty of opportunity for photography.
Cold water was provided, and the boat had good shading. If you possess binoculars I highly recommend taking them.

Great cruise with Jake. Unfortunately airboat was out of action but Danielle kept us updated and arranged boat cruise instead. Jake was a knowledgeable guide and helped us spot so much birdlife. Heaps of crocs as well. Thoroughly recommend!

Jake was thrilled to hear you enjoyed his tour and we are glad you got to see a lot of birdlife as we know you were keen to see them. Fast airboat, small group, get right amongst all the wildlife and plants on the billabong. Great option to see it all quickly with the fun of the ride! Awesome, funny guide and driver - Jake

We had a great time on the 45 minute airboat cruise on the Corroboree Billabong/Mary River wetlands. Our 2 guides were very good and provided an informative commentary. The wetlands are beautiful and the airboat fun & safe. We had the most wonderful experience of a Jabiru flying beside our boat - it was like it was leading the way ! - truly majestical and a real treat. We didn't see as many crocodiles as expected - but that is nature for you. A great experience. Recommend.

Jake was an absolute highlight. Plenty of knowledge, down-to-earth, friendly and accommodating. His new protege Riley was quick to learn and share his knowledge of the local fauna. Overall a must do and see with this company. Loved it, thanks gents!

Reading a post it says
You drive to Corroboree Tavern, where your guide Reuben Jones will pick you up to drive you out to the wetlands, which is located on a cattle station. His knowledge on the Flora, Fauna and history on the station is exceptional, once out at the wetlands you then have approx. 1 hour Airboat experience across the wetlands, which is outstanding. Reuben then drives you back to Corroboree Tavern, where you can peruse their souvenirs or have a quick bite to eat.
Is it still possible to be picked up from the tavern to do the airboat experience
