We went to see a double feature here. The night was lovely weather wise. You could see the stars and the moon came up over the movie screen. We had dinner here. There was a choice of 4 meals. All looked great. Had a lovely...More

Near the waterfront and just down the hill from downtown. Free parking. Movies every nite during the Dry season. Dinner available and there's a bar. Almost magical. A must-do when in Darwin... at least once.

I associate going to the cinema with being fleeced at every opportunity. Well not at the Deckchair Cinema. These guys even let you bring your own food. Drinks must be paid for and even then prices are modest. Grab a chair near the fence to...More

Top shelf experience! Good food, drinks and all round experience. The clientele are mature and friendly - Make sure you have a yak with someone before the movie

We came many times this season. If it’s peak times, make sure you come early as seats get taken up quickly! Take a chance on a movie you’ve never heard of, you’ll be surprised.

Most cities these days have an outdoor cinema & Darwin's is in a good central spot that's easy to get to & is set up nicely. Pity we didn't get a chance to try the food. An enjoyable way to spend an evening.

Hi Linder. I’m a traveler like you, so I can’t really answer your question. I would google the deck chair cinema to find out if it is open, although I’m guessing it won’t be. It is the wet season in Darwin, with torrential... More
