We had the best day. Ben our pilot kept us well informed & professionally serviced but more importantly made us feel very safe. The whole day from start to finish was beyond our expectations. Fishing was great, pub crawl was awesome and the views of the top end from the helicopter really are second to none. We’ve done a lot of tours around Oz and hands down this was our best by far. Thanks Helifishing Darwin!!

The helicopter pub crawl was the coolest experience ever: awesome views, great pubs and wonderful company. Our pilot Tim made us feel very safe at the same time ensuring we have a good time. And had some wicked trivia up his sleeve! We were also lucky to be joined by Ebony who ended up being our private photographer for the day!
All in all a fantastic experience, and comparing other helicopter tours, a great value for money. Five Stars +!

Had a fabulous day on a helicopter pub crawl with Helifish. Tim was our pilot for the day, professional, friendly, informative. What a way to see parts of Darwin that we would not of discovered. By touring via helicopter we covered such a large area. I would highly recommend.

Living the life of a rock star! Spending the kids inherentence and worth it. Our guide, David, is a great guy and took great care of us even though his ass was sore from a lack of padding in his pilot seat cushion. LOL 😆 GREAT FUN!

Spent the day out with Tim from Helifish and couldn’t have been in more capable and safer hands both in the air and by the river bank.
Tim took the time to teach me how to use a bait caster which I’d never done before. His expert tuition had me casting effectively in no time.
Results spoke for themselves with numerous large Barra hooked for the day.
All smiles and a great day out. Thank you Tim and the Helifish team.!

An amazing and enjoyable experience. Great fun on the pub tour, great fun being in a helicopter. James and Ebony are very knowledgable and helpful. We will definately do another Helifish tour next time we are in Darwin. Thanks guys.

As a regular barramundi fisherman the hellish experience is a must. Not only do you get to fish in some pretty remote locations the view from the helicopter is amazing. Seeing the Top End by helicopter is an absolute thrilling adventure. The flood plains and the wildlife are spectacular. Mark and his experienced crew will guide you through out your trip and are more than willing to answer any questions you may have. I have done three trips and have already booked two for next year. Barra can be a pretty hard fish to catch at times but be assured the crew at Helifish will try their best to get you onto the fish!! In April this year I was lucky to experience the best Barra fishing I have had with 13 fish over a metre caught in two days between myself and my father. Weather you are an experienced angler or you have never fished before Mark and his crew will provide you with and experience of a lifetime.

My mates and I tasked the HeliFish guys with building a 5 day charter and they totally blew us away.
The first thing I would say about HeliFish is that they take safety very serious. We felt super safe in the helicopter and when fishing.
Over five days we fished and flew through scenery that we will never forget.
Without questions I would recommend HeliFish for a day or even a week!

Went full day Helifishing out of Darwin, flight was terrific and scenery breathtaking. However didn’t catch a single fish which was the point of the exercise so ended rather disappointed given the price. The tides were big which made it difficult but would have preferred some freshwater non tidal options

Thank you for taking the time to post a review on Tripadvisor for us, we really appreciate it.
We are pleased that you found the flight terrific and the scenery breathtaking, we still get amazed at how beautiful the country is that we fly over and fish at.
There can be occasions where the fishing is particularly challenging in the dry season, especially when it was following the poor wet season.
As fishermen we often find ourselves in the hands of mother nature, and we all share your frustration when the fish aren’t on the bite.

As much as you want it to be. We did non stop fishing at each stop, and then opted for the pub stoop on the way home. Would definitely recommend if you love your fishing.

We are looking at staying at Mantra on Esplanade Darwin - Can anyone please tell us where the helifish tours are run from and how easy they are to get to.
By all reports it looks like its worth doing.....

Helifish operates from MKT airfield at Noonamah about a 30 min drive from Darwin City. We currently have heavy bookings but please call me to see if we have a spot that can suit your agenda.
