One stop that I never miss is the wharf precinct. Great variety of food and the wharf to enjoy it on along with a beverage of your choice.

The range of take away styled options are great. They all looked really delicious. A couple of restaurants are licensed and allow you to take the drinks away, reasonably priced.

The whalf is beautiful. You can see boats and fish. Be careful with young children - deep water and no fence.

We enjoyed walking to the wharf and having a bite to eat. We also visited the WWII exhibit on the dock. Enjoy the evening breeze and relax.

A walk through the precinct was pleasant, lots of people relaxing on the lawns, big trees for shade, kids swimming, the wave pool pumping and plenty of places for a coffee or some food. Street art adds to the ambience.

We had some really great barramundi at the wharf. The restaurants all have outdoor seating and you sit right beside the Harbour.

There are public tables to sit at and you buy your food at outlets. A bottle shop is onsite but there is nothing to stop BYO. There is also a full table service restaurant (not BYO). I hope this answer is helpful.
