We are grateful for the time we got to spend at the sacred Pudakul site. Graham was very generous with his teachings to share his cultural knowledge and experiences with our large family group. Graham was very engaging with the kids, which further contributed to the enjoyment of the group. Graham’s daughter was also a wealth of knowledge and we loved her stories from the female perspective.
We all thoroughly enjoyed this tour, and would highly recommend as a must-do activity for anyone visiting Darwin.

We can highly recommend the Kakadu Rock Art Tour especially if you have limited time. We would have loved to have longer at Kakadu and would definitely go on other Pudakul tours but we had limited time so this one day trip from Darwin was perfect. Graham is a fantastic guide (as well as an amazing artist) and we learnt a lot about him and his culture as well as Aboriginal culture more broadly. The Yellow Water cruise was unexpected and amazing to see the wildlife. The Rock Art was breathtaking and great to have Graham explain it to us. Graham and Lynette were very generous to us and made sure we got back to Darwin even with a snap COVID lockdown. We will definitely be back for more Pudakul experiences and would love to stay there at the accommodation.

Hello Andrew, Thank you for a lovely review and thank you for acknowledging your time spent with Pudakul as a genuine Aboriginal owned and operated family business, we aim to give 200% every time. We are pleased to read that Graham was a fantastic guide and Lynette looked after you during the COVID lockdown period and got you safely back to your accommodation. We have a range of Graham's "Dugmul" arts on sale at Pudakul and when you return in the future you will have the opportunity to browse the gallery and small gift shop and we would love for you to come and stay and indulge in the local Limilngan and Wulna culture. Thank you for rating your first hand experience a 5/5 and for sharing your experience for others to read. Stay safe. Thank you from Graham, Lynette and the Pudakul team :)

Pudakul was recommended to us by a tour guide as an enjoyable and informative cultural experience and it did not disappoint. Graham is amazing and has so many stories - about the land, his culture and his life. I could have listened to him all day! His daughter Tianna taught us about traditional weaving and was very patient with her teaching as we struggled to grasp the technique. Really glad we chose to add this experience to our itinerary and recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning more about indigenous culture.

We are locals and have shared these tours with our friends and family many times. Graeme and his family at Padakul tours have started an extraordinary experience sharing culture and increasing appreciation and understanding of indigenous culture and connection to country. We did the rock art tour yesterday and Adam our guide was so generous with his time and explanations on the art and how people lived in and around Norlangie Rock, the kinship structure and positive steps happening in Kakadu toward management of this world heritage place.

This was an amazing and immensely enjoyable part of our trip to Darwin during COVID times. We went on the Wetland Discovery Tour. Graham picked us up from our hotel in a very comfortable, air-conditioned mini bus and we had great conversation on our way to the billabong. The tour guides, with Graham showed us crocodiles, all different kinds of birds and plant life. Everyone was experienced and knew what they were talking about.
After the billabong Graham took us to his cultural centre, which was the highlight of the day. He wasn't just a working holiday tour guide doing his job (nothing wrong with that, of course), but he shared and educated us about his culture, his family and his life. We learnt so much about the traditional culture of this country but it wasn't a boring lecture, it was fascinating and hands on.
I cannot more highly recommend Graham and his tour, which was excellent value for money. It was a much more authentic and satisfying experience to go on a tour of outback Australia with a company that is 100% Aboriginal owned and operated. When selecting tours, I recommend Graham's tours over larger, less personal companies.
The next time we come to Darwin, we will go on Graham's Kakadu tour!

If you’re in Darwin, a trip out to Pudakul Aboriginal Cultural Tours in Humpty Doo is a must. My sister and I took the two hour tour with Graham, a Limilngan-Wulna Elder, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. We learned so much from Graham about local wildlife, different uses for native plants and the traditions and customs of his people. We we given a demonstration on how traditional weapons are used for hunting and were treated to a didgeridoo performance. Later, Graham’s daughter gave us a lesson in weaving dilly bags and baskets and helped us to make our own bracelets as souvenirs. To top it all off, after the tour we tucked into some delicious homemade damper that was fresh out of the oven. We were made to feel so welcome by this family-run business and couldn’t recommend their tours more. Thanks for a 10/10 experience Graham and family!

My daughter and I did the 2-hour Pudakul Cultural Tour with the art option. We were blown away by the whole experience, we were welcomed by Adam who took us on a tour through the bush sharing his knowledge and insights - and sense of humour. We spent time with Selina and it felt like a very intimate experience listening to her stories. The home made damper bread was delicious, and the setting just stunning. We will be highly recommending to everyone, and want to go back for a longer stay next time

The time taken to talk to us and the opportunity to gain an understanding of the basis of the connection to country was an invaluable learning curve. To be able to spend time with a senior elder and hear about aboriginal culture is a privilege, thank you Graeme. Sixty thousand years of understanding community living a-nd how to take care of this land can't be learnt in an hour or a day. This tour is an all-but-unique opportunity to start to understand a little about the oldest culture on earth.

My wife and I attended the 2 hour walk and loved every second of it. Tarisma and Adam were fabulous teachers and answered all our questions along the way. It’s a fabulous way to hear stories, understand more about the history of country and participate along the way. We had a good laugh with both of them and were very fortunate to be the only two for our tour so we had lots of time to listen and swap stories along the way. I would highly recommend any of their tours and once the accommodation is up and running, I’m sure that will also be a fantastic experience.

If you want to gain insights into the culture and ways of life for local aboriginal peoples, you have got to get yourself here. Learn about the feed, hunting, trees, medicines, laws, language and much more besides…. Less than an hour away from the city of Darwin, you’re invited to ask as many questions and to experience spear throwing (mine needs work!) and making rope (really need to work on this too!)
Truly a great trip and you know the monies paid go direct to the first peoples… too good to miss.
