Great day out caught some good Barra. Flo our tour guide knew his stuff & was very polite & courteous. He arrived on time and had a full day out and come home with some good fish.Would highly recommend him if you want to go out and have a good time and catch some fish.

What a fantastic day out Barra fishing. Great communication prior. Very informative and helpful on the day. Nothing was too much trouble. Floran went out of his way to take us the day we wanted to go, catered for dietaries, changed lures and filleting the fish. We saw buffalo up close, Jabiru dancing, Brolgas, Jesus birds, crocs and five varieties of fish. We got very good at using a lure for fishing as we had a lot of practice. We got a nice size Barra to keep and a bonus trophy fish called Saratoga. We highly recommend this charter boat and would definitely go again given the opportunity.

My son and I had 2 days with Flo out on the corroboree and Dundee Beach, had an amazing time catching fish and seeing wildlife but most of all sharing lifetime memories. From the start Cindy made it so easy with email communication and booking to send photos when we returned. Flo is a determined passionate fishing guide and very experienced with a wealth of knowledge of locations, weather and fishing but above all he is a great bloke. Great character with amazing people. Looking forward to the runoff next trip 👍

We selected a 2 day package spread across the Finniss River and Corroborree billabong. It was an amazing trip and so well organised. Cindy catered a package that suited our groups needs. Flo was a brilliant captain and was relentless in his pursuit of big Barramundi. He knows where the fish our and ensured we caught some great fish. Would highly recommended and look forward to coming again.

Hard work trying to land Barra but that’s fishing!
Flo is a Great bloke and a great guide which he made the best out of such tough day with the Barra being stubborn to chew on our lures!

What a great day. Never been Barra fishing before and we landed 5 big Barra on one day great company. Great captain, plenty of laughs which always makes the day good. Cooked up fresh Barra on the bbq for lunch. 3 people on the boat never been Barra fishing and we all left with a fish, the smallest one was 70 cm, cannot recommend this boat enough, money well spent and memories made that will last a lifetime! Thanks again best in business.

My family and I had high hopes for a memorable fishing trip at Point Stuart Resort, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by deceitful behavior from the service provider.
Upon arrival, we were given 4 X 5kg boxes and paid a deposit of A$6,300. The remaining balance of A$5,100 was to be settled during the trip. However, on the second day, during breakfast, the service provider insisted on cash payment, claiming it would avoid VAT. This turned out to be false as we later discovered that all charter rates were already inclusive of VAT.
He then threatened us that we did not pay right away he would not take us fishing and furthermore he had restricted us to only 5kg per person when the law states that each fishers is allowed to have 3pieces of barra with us at anytime(found this out by talking to other fisherman staying at the camp).We were unhappy that he had restricted us to 5kg of barra per person because one barra would be around 10kg so it does not make sense that we had book a 4 day fishing trip just to catch two barra.
Despite this setback, we managed to salvage our trip by engaging in tourist activities for the remaining days. We also purchased fish fillets from other sources to disprove the service provider's claims about airport regulations, which turned out to be unfounded.
In conclusion, our fishing trip at Point Stuart Resort did not meet our expectations due to the untrustworthy behavior of the service provider. We were left feeling disappointed and would caution others to be wary when dealing with this individual.

Dear David Lee and Family,
Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent fishing trip with us. We are deeply disappointed to hear about your dissatisfaction with your experience, and we'd like to address your concerns.
Firstly, we understand your desire to bring back fish fillets to Singapore for your friends and family.
But 200kg like show on your picture is not considered as for personal use anymore but for resell in your restaurant in Singapore on Sentosa waterfront.
However, as you discovered through your research on Singapore's import laws and regulations, there are strict limitations on the quantity of frozen fish fillets that can be brought into the country. See as below link, under food restriction, Seafood quantity, list on sfa.gov.sg. (https://www.sfa.gov.sg/food-import-export/bringing-food-for-personal-use).
Additionally, our capacity and freezer limitations also restrict the amount of fish that can be stored and transported during the trip. We can provide all the messages on WhatsApp that we tried to communicate with you prior to the tour, which you have read and responded to.
Regarding the payment arrangement, our terms and conditions clearly state that 50% of the total cost is required upfront, with the remaining balance due eight days before the trip. (This has listed on our website Terms and Condition page). We agreed to your request to pay the remaining amount during pick-up at the airport to accommodate your preference and avoid bank card fees. However, it is essential to uphold commitments, and we expected the remaining payment to be made as agreed upon.
Unfortunately, when the remaining amount was not paid as agreed upon, we were left with no choice but to inform you that the trip would be canceled if payment was not received immediately. We operate with integrity and transparency and cannot compromise on our terms and conditions.
We must emphasize that our business is not intended for commercial fish resale but rather for recreational purposes, with a focus on catch and release for protected and controlled species. The area where we conduct our fishing trips is a national park with strict regulations on the quantity and size of fish that can be kept.
We regret any misunderstanding or inconvenience caused, but we stand by our decision to adhere to legal and ethical practices. Threatening to post negative reviews as leverage for personal gain is not constructive and goes against the spirit of fair and honest feedback.
We hope this clarifies the situation, and we remain committed to providing enjoyable and responsible fishing experiences for our customers.

I had an amazing time on a Barra Private Tour with Skipper Floran in the Top End of Darwin. The fishing experience was top-notch, and Skipper Floran's expertise and knowledge made the trip even more enjoyable. We caught some impressive Barramundi and had a fantastic day out on the water. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience the best of Barra fishing in the Top End.
