We did a private 7 day tour of Kakadu, Litchfield and Arnhem Land and it was marvellous, our guide Nick was informative and very helpful as I had limited mobility, but because of him we didn't miss out on anything. Loved our trip and would highly recommend this company, thanks.

I can't recommend Venture North enough!
I joined their Kakadu/Arnhem Land/Cobourg Peninsula safari tour in September and was blown away by the professionalism of both the company, and the staff.
Our tour guide, Nick, was organised, professional, knowledgeable, super capable, courteous and great fun.
We saw some incredible sights and experienced some unique experiences that will be with me for a long time.
The food, the accommodation, the experiences, the staff were all just brilliant!
Being a small tour (6 guests), it was a delight to get to know the other guests and share the adventures with them. 😊

Wow, this was a fabulous trip, beautiful places to explore, amazing rock paintings, lots of animal and bird life to see. The private campground is the best location with views to die for (even from the loo and shower!) People make the trip and all the staff were so knowledgeable, caring and happy to go the extra mile. All the equipment and facilities were well maintained reliable.
Food was yummy too, what more can I say other than “I’m so glad I did this”.

Enjoyed this trip immensely. I went with my wife and two other couples who are good friends of ours and we all had an excellent time . We especially appreciated the expertise, consideration and professionalism of our guide Darcy. He was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the amazing and beautiful country the we travelled through and was great at showing us lots wildlife and beautiful vegetation.
The coastal camp was beautifully set up and very comfortable with perfect minimalist facilities close to nature. The Venture North team were very attentive and prepared excellent meals including lovely seafood we caught with the help of expert fishing guide Mike.
A highlight of the trip was climbing Injalak Hill to see the incredible aboriginal rock art with local indigenous guide Craig. His connection and passion for his country was inspiring.
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in experiencing the beautiful Arnhem Land and Kakadu regions.
The coastal camp was beautifully set up and very comfortable with perfect minimalist facilities close to nature. The Venture North team were very attentive and prepared excellent meals including lovely seafood we caught with the help of expert fishing guide Mike.

We travelled with our parents for their 75 birthdays. We had all seen lots of Australia before, but Arnhem Land is something special.
We were fortunate to have Dave McMahon as tour guide. He is a former high end chef and now a naturalist with amazing knowledge of the local flora, fauna and birdlife. So not only did we see some amazing things, we ate like kings. (I think the best barramundi I have ever eaten).
The Coburg peninsula in Arnhem land is incredible in its beauty, and remoteness (so good not to have mobile contact). The Venture North bush camp on the peninsula is very comfortable and a great staging point for boat trips and driving safaris. I would highly recommend.

Private Charter: Kakadu, West Arnhem Land, Katherine, Litchfield 5 Days
What a magnificent adventure for our family! Everything was included in the tour price with no hidden extras (alcohol was not included). Tom picked us up at our accommodation in Darwin. He was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and took care of everything during the entire trip. He showed us places where we would not have taken ourselves. The scenery was breathtaking and we all gained a better understanding of the traditional owners' culture and history.
Unfortunately we were not able to visit Gunlom Falls which was closed but we were fortunate enough to have a swim at Jim Jim Falls. It would be difficult to decide which was our favourite waterfall in this tour but Barramundi Gorge (Maguk) Waterfall and Edith Falls were both spectacular!
Tom pointed out many different species of flora and fauna in the regions. He even spotted two kites having a fight in mid-air!
We took a sunset flight from Jabiru over Kakadu and Arnhem Land. It was also fantastic to experience the landscape on a cruise at Corroboree Billabong as well as Katherine Gorge.
We have made such wonderful memories on this amazing trip! There were too many highlights to mention them all. Thank you so much!

Tom is an excellent guide, and we are so pleased you enjoyed your tour with him. The Top End has so many magical swimming locations that picking a favourite can be challenging. Sunsets are intrinsic to the NT; experiencing them from the air makes it even more spectacular. This was the most amazing experience and one of the best trips I have ever done. The Guides absolutely made it and worked so hard to share their passion of the Top End. They were so knowledgeable on the environment, history and culture and took such good care of all of us and our specific needs. I could not fault them. The vehicles were terrific, and our guides were clearly experienced and knew the areas well. They also fully catered for us and the food was amazing. Too many highlights to mention but I would highly recommend this tour, it was a very special experience and as a result some more friends of mine have booked the same tour and are off next week!

We had the pleasure of having Dave as our tour guide. We had an amazing experience. My husband is adventurous and Dave made sure he saw and experienced everything possible, fresh water spring swimming holes were his favourite. For the more risk adverse wife he provided guidance and gave confidence for her needs. Dave’s knowledge and expertise in everything from the best walking tracks, swimming holes to everything flora and fauna. He can make a great roadside park lunch too! Service was excellent. Dave also had a wealth of experience with aboriginal culture…we learned a lot. Appreciated this tour very much and we both agree it was very special. Thanks Dave for making our trip amazingly memorable.

This tour was absolutely brilliant. All the places we visited were spectacular and there was a great balance between challenging walks, leisurely walks and time to take in the incredible views and culture. Cobourg was a highlight for me. The camp was beautifully nestled into the surrounds. So natural. Nick and Caroline were very welcoming hosts and looked after us (and the camp site) so well. Our guides, Nick and Tom, were extraordinary. They had so much knowledge, energy, patience and they are incredible cooks. We had a wonderful afternoon on the boat with Mick, fishing (and catching our dinner). So much fun. Thanks to everyone involved and to the beautiful people we met and travelled with. My trip was made amazing by our driver/guide Tom. Tom not only drove all day he prepared all our meals (which were just delicious That man can cook). Tom was our very knowledgeable tour guide and was always ready to answer questions. The accommodation was excellent and the view from the "tent" (glamping in style) was beautiful straight over the bay. I was at the far end and the bathroom I shared with 3 others was out of the world. Shower whilst watching the sunset over the bay. Well worth the money . The food, accommodation, 4x4 transport and facilities were excellent. Would recommend Venture North as a tour company

On cruise ship arriving early Nov. have about 4 hours to keep 13 yo daughter occupied. Don't need the croc shows or arcade games. What can we see in such a short time that is unique to NT? Thx for ur help
