Carole and I had a wonderful time travelling up to the Coburg Peninsula. Our guide Annie was brilliant, effortlessly moving from being very knowledgeable about animals, plants and First People history to creating memorable meals and looking after our 80 year old selves.
The landsape was stunning and pre-dinner nibbles watching the sun go down on a totatally deserted horizon was a great way to finish a great day of exploring the region.
Thank you for providing us with the best Top End trip we have been on.

The best fishing experience I’ve ever had. What a spectacular 4 solid days of fishing, in all sorts of weather, sea, reef and estuary fishing. Staff were very welcoming went over and beyond what I expected, always helpful, great food, went out of their way to ensure I had the best fishing experience possible. The amazing captain, Misha was fantastic and his fishing skills were the best I’ve seen. The scenery is incredible and the other guests were a great mix and lots of fun. I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone who wants to experience fishing at its best!

Last august we did a customized 4-day tour through Litchfield, Katherine, Kakadu and Arnhemland. It was an amazing experience for our family. We and our kids (6 and 10) really enjoyed the beautiful natural environments, Big thanks to our guide Dave for making this an amazing experience. Our kids were obsessed by him and loved the walks and the adventures along our way.

Our family (7 adults and 2 kids) enjoyed a 3 night / 4 day camping trip to Kakadu with guides Alan and Damon. our guides were experienced, professional, friendly and looked after us all extremely well. Dinner each night was fabulous - incredibly high quality for a camping trip!! Activities were tailored to our capabilities and interests. We saw so much of what is on offer in Kakadu, and loved the variation of swimming in gorges, exploring rock art and hiking to lookouts for incredible views. We can't recommend Venture North enough - you won't regret booking a trip to Kakadu with their team.

Four of us have just returned from a six day bespoke tour to Kakadu with Venture North Safaris. We camped for two nights in Koolpin gorge, a special permit area and spent the other three nights in 'glamping' tents at Cooinda. Our guide Damo was great - very familiar with the sites we visited, knowledgeable about the landscape and Aboriginal culture, art, history and practices. He was always punctual, a great cook and driver. We saw most of the highlights of Kakadu plus several less visited locations. The food was excellent throughout the trip. I highly recommend seeing Kakadu with Venture North Safaris.

We took a 2 day NT/Kakadu Tour with our guide Dave. His knowledge of the flora, fauna and indigenous culture and history was phenomenal. Both days were packed full of encounters and learnings, starting from our first detour to Leaning Tree Lagoon, then a cruise down Corroboree Billabong teeming with beautiful birds, lily pads (& so many crocodiles ), lunch on the banks of South Alligator River, followed by a refreshing dip in the picturesque Maguk waterfall (no crocodiles) and a stunning Kakadu sunset after a short climb onto Nourlangie Rock lookout. Day 2 started with a visit to Ubirr rock art site, a natural overhang housing a vast collection of rock art, then an easy climb up to the rocky lookout which gave us 360 degree view of the surrounding floodplains. A delicious lunch was provided at the Mamukala Wetland bird hide, followed by the highlight of the day – Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruise. The cruise operators provided up close and personal encounters with these amazing reptiles that demonstrated their incredible potential.
The whole trip was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before. We will definitely be Venturing North again.

We had the pleasure of having Dave as our tour guide. We had an amazing experience. My husband is adventurous and Dave made sure he saw and experienced everything possible, fresh water spring swimming holes were his favourite. For the more risk adverse wife he provided guidance and gave confidence for her needs. Dave’s knowledge and expertise in everything from the best walking tracks, swimming holes to everything flora and fauna. He can make a great roadside park lunch too! Service was excellent. Dave also had a wealth of experience with aboriginal culture…we learned a lot. Appreciated this tour very much and we both agree it was very special. Thanks Dave for making our trip amazingly memorable.

I am delighted to say we had a fantastic time on our 3 day private 4WD tour of Kakadu & Litchfield with my wife and 2 boys aged 13 and 11. Please pass on our thanks to Damon who was an excellent tour guide who really looked after us. We particularly liked his knowledge of Aboriginal culture and the local native animals and plants. We loved the swimming holes Damon took us to, avoiding the crowds and allowing us to savour the unique experience of being in nature of Kakadu and Litchfield.
All in all it has been a highlight of our holiday and we can't thank you enough. I highly recommend this company to others considering a guided tour of the Northern Territory.

We, a group of eight fishermen, had a spectacular trip to the Cobourg Peninsula in October this year. The camp was set beautifully and was more comfortable than expected. The guides were some of the best we've had, hardworking, with great knowledge and humor. All this was capped off with superb weather. Can't speak highly enough of this operation.

This was a trip of a life time, I cannot recommend the tour enough, everything is carefully planned and thought of, the team are so helpful, and dedicated to making sure your trip is memorable. You start in style and just continue on and upwards. The food is absolutely amazing the camp site is very top end, top of the topper most actually. A huge thanks to the team, the entire team who make this a most memorable experience.

On cruise ship arriving early Nov. have about 4 hours to keep 13 yo daughter occupied. Don't need the croc shows or arcade games. What can we see in such a short time that is unique to NT? Thx for ur help
