Heaps to see, taste and appreciate some of the best Darwin has to offer in fast food. Outside in the central forecourt Lots of different fruit & vegetables to take home & experiment the 'taste burst 'that Darwin is know for.

Great to head out of town to a family friendly market. The variety of handmade goods was amazing and quite different. Great fresh produce stalls and the variety of food was fantastic cultural experience.

The perfect Sunday morning ritual! Soooo much good food! Best Asian food south of Asia! Endless options. Such good value! Go hungry because then you can take your pick and just continue to binge like I do! Yes it's hot because the heat is relentless in Darwin, but the markets are the best place to be despite it! Love coming... More

It can be tricky to get a park nearby. I hadn’t been to these markets for 20 years since I moved south in 1996. The local grown fruit & vegetable produce look fresh and reasonably priced however any cooked food is expensive, mostly Asian food which looked delicious and smelt great. Not many gift/craft or home ware stalls thesedays obviously.... More

The people are friendly the food options great for a small market. Great for buying fresh local fruit and vegetables. Good if you want herbs and spices, a lot cheaper than the supermarkets. Good to go early as it can get hot by midday.

As cultural food experiences go, it doesn't get much better than this market. Like a cross between a market in SE Asia and the Pacific, this market offers a huge range of fresh, exotic fruits, herbs and spices to delight the senses and tempt your taste buds. Mangoes, bananas, jackfruit, asian vegetables and much more are here. Not to mention... More

Sunday at these markets is awesome. Saturday is not S full market so not really enough variety. I was hoping to buy a few pot plants but none for sale! My daughters wanted some spring rolls etc and couldn't find any. Will save our trip for Sunday next time

Rapid Creek markets have opened on Saturday. And WHAT A RELIEF. Many of our favourite stalls, but without the now dangerous crowds of the Sunday markets. You can still get great produce, terrific local food, and.. nope.. that's what takes me there, the produce and the food. I found a park so easily, the stall holders were so friendly -... More
