Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This water & recreation park was absolutely FREE. We couldn't believe it. What a great thing to have for families in the community. There was a great huge pool, splash pad and 3 x water slides. The new green waterslide was the best slide and such fun. You have to visit this place if in Darwin with families!

What a great way to spend the day! We took two kids (8 and 11) and they and the adults had a fantastic time. Great water slides and other places to swim/relax.
The fact that it’s free is a bonus!

Brilliant free family option in Darwin to both escape the heat and give the kids a great time. The slides are brilliant and the pool is fun for all. Very much a required visit when in Darwin

Have recently visited this water park on my recent trip to Darwin. Condition of the water playground needs improvements as the parts of the water playground wasn’t working. Have visited this water park in the past while I was living in Darwin on short terms

This is a Very impressive and free waterpark. There are water slides for all the different ages, there is a lagoon for swimming and there is the water fun part for younger children. Lifeguards are constantly patrolling all the areas which makes it very safe for children. There are free barbecues and plenty of grass to sit on. One of the best features is a play area and swing for wheelchair children. Overall a great attraction.

Hi where do the cruises depart from - how far from Jabiru?

Ohh.. Kakadu is abt 150. km. and JAbiru is abt 220km from Darwin, Only a few Kms to Cahills crossing which is the furthest you can go without a permit. .
Good burgers at Coroborree (100km) and Bark hut ( 130km.)Cahills Crossing is teeming with crocs that you can view from the river bank at low tide. Google the exact distances.
I worked in Maningrida for a couple of years and had to use Cahills crosing frequently. Never missed seeing a croc near the crossing. Even drove (unintentionaly) over the tail of one.
