It was wonderful tour, having Tess tell us about herself growing up in the Litchfield area, and showing us the plants and the places from an indigenous perspective. Greg covered the management of the park, provided extra botanical information and cooked our excellent lunch.

We had an amazing day with Tess and Greg, one of the best tours I've ever done. A really informative and fun duo who were open to discussing all sorts of topics and have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area, and the rest of Australia too. They adjust the itinerary, pace and style of the tour to suit the group's needs, interests and physical abilities and got the balance absolutely spot on. Definitely not a stock-standard itinerary that you often get on day tours. Cannot recommend enough, thanks so much for our experience!

One of the highlights of our time in Darwin was the day we spent with Greg and Tess exploring Litchfield National Park. If you are after an experience where you can spend quality time learning about the local indigenous culture and history, the parks, mining, politics and the land, with two of the loveliest people, Tess a local aboriginal woman and Greg, a botanist, both ex-park rangers, covering everything and anything you are curious to learn and ask about, we could not recommend this company highly enough. Since our trip, we have inspired many of our friends to add Darwin to their holiday travels as we recalled our memorable time that we had in Darwin and especially our day with Indigenous Tours.

We had a fabulous day, with plenty of interesting conversations, learning lots about the flora and fauna of Litchfield National Park, hearing the stories about Tess's family over the generations and their connection to the areas we visited, having our wide ranging questions about Darwin life answered and all wrapped up in beautiful scenery, walks, yummo lunch and immensely pleasurable swims in quiet spots to relax in the 'build up' season as the monsoon approaches.

Thanks Tess and Anne for a special day. We have been on a previous tour of Litchfield but this was something different. The swim was just what we needed in the NT heat and the bbq lunch of buffalo crocodile and prawns gave us a taste of top end specialties. Most of all we enjoyed the way Tess shared her culture and country with us. We felt privileged to experience the warmth of the friendship between the two women and enjoyed our discussions on literature and bridge with Anne. We not only saw this beautiful country but were able to get to know people who belong here. Thank you both
