Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I go to the Market as it od small but very friedly we usually buy sprouted stuff and special leaved stuff when availible.
I alsoget a take away from the assorted providers. Sadly its either closed now or die to close soon. 🤔

The ONLY place to be on a Saturday night. Relax under the lanterns in a great family friendly atmosphere, listening to live and local music and eating the best food that Darwin has to offer. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. Superb fresh produce and craft stalls.

Great to place for somwhere different in Darwin to just come and chill. Not a lot of variety but pretty quiet and relaxed. To eat, we chose the Japanese barbqued skewer set... 2 chicken skewers with a special rice. Ordered an extra beef skewer too. Cost $15 plus another $5 for the extra skewer. The chicken had a nice flavour but very undercooked. Had to throw a third of it away as it was nearly raw. The beef was lacking flavour and a bit dry. $5 each is very overpriced for these skewers. The rice looked nice but again lacked flavour. We also had some kind of peach punch drink which was really yummy! We would return but next time would choose a different food seller. There was a burger caravan which looked really yummy. Will try that next time.

Malak Marketplace is a great place to come with a group of friends for a relaxed Saturday night out with great food and live music. The markets run in the cooler months from May to October on Saturdays 4pm to 9pm (don't come outside these months as you will be disappointed) and have a huge selection of food vendors with offerings from all different countries and cultures - you will be in heaven and completely spoilt for choice. There is also live music and plenty of tables and chairs to sit around in a group and chat and enjoy the live music. There are a few shops nearby which are open as well, so this has the potential to be an excellent night out. My friends come here regularly and I can see why - I will definitely come back to Malak Marketplace.

This is a very small but nice market. A few food options, live music and a couple of craft stalls. There is plenty of space and parking but perhaps more stalls and food options would help to bring in the locals and tourists alike.

This community founded market is a treasure trove of quality vendors and products.
A must do if you are into quality products and food that are fresh, organic, locally based and made.
Did the 1 hr tour with Lina, love how passionate she is about healthful and mindful living. The reusable cutlery pack is something I can easily tuck away in my handbag.
Learnt a lot from the vendors - who are rightly proud of their products.
So don’t expect dozens of stalls with imported products - do expect boutique size market and a quality experience.
Highly recommend taking the tour with market place manager Lina who introduces you to the vendors and a number of taste testing opportunities on the way!

This market has a great selection of food with plenty of organic, vegan and gluten free options. Plenty of fun for kids and you can pick up some organic veges.
