An intimate dining experience under the outback sky. 'Tali Wiru', meaning beautiful dune in local Anangu language, encapsulates the magic of fine dining under the Southern Desert sky. Instead of walls, this open-air restaurant has magnificent views of Uluru and the distant domes of Kata Tjuta, and for music there's the stillness of the desert at night and the classic sounds of the didgeridoo. Relax with Champagne and canapés around a firepit while you watch the sun set. As day turns to night, stroll to the top of the dune for a table d'hote four-course dinner, matched with premium Australian wines.

This was our special surprise dinner booked for a work reward. Truly amazing and something everyone should do somewhere 'under the stars' at least once. The staff were fantastic, food was out of this world and atmosphere spectacular. Make sure you take your camera and...More

Travelled via outback luxury coach to raised dune platform on a high spot with visibility of Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjura (Olga’s). Met with smoked emu canapés and French champagne. Background music of didgeridoo (concert performance). Chef explained the native condiments utilised in the...More

Yes this an expensive dinner but for the experience that you will not get anywhere else it is worth it. You are picked up from your hotel and driven out to the site which is on a slight hill overlooking the park. You get to...More

Absolutely great experience. Superb spot and superb food and wine combinations. Excellent service as well. Overall a "must do" experience in Uluru. Good showcasing of local & more traditional ingredients in combination. Thanks to everyone involved.

The reviews are right! This was so worth the expense and I am glad I picked it over the sounds of silence dinner. We were treated like royalty and I didn't want the night to end! When we arrived at the dune we were welcomed...More

Tali Wiru is a fine dining experience, whereas Sounds of Silence is a buffet: Tali Wiru has matched wines and a very high level of service and is limited to about 20 people.
