Our bus driver was outstanding. He made a special effort to help us get the most from our trip and gave a great inside into the culture of the indigenous population.

We just left Ayres Rock yesterday. Had an awesome experience. We did the Night at the Field of Lights and Uluru Base Walk with the company. The staff were informative, but really nice and vibrant people. It made the experience so much better. Thanks for...More

We completed both the sunrise viewing and base walk (2 separate tours) of Ayers Rock with AAT Kings and both were very rushed. A minimum extra half hour is needed to view the sunrise on the Rock to appreciate its beauty. Unless you do the...More

Whilst staying at the Desert Gardens hotel we went to the Uluru sunset and BBQ dinner run by AAT Kings. We started by going to a site opposite the Rock where we enjoyed a memorable sunset accompanied by drinks and Canapies. We then went on...More

Unlike the other 2 AAT Kings tours we took this one turned up on time. The walk around the Kuta Tjuta's is breathtaking . It's an amazing place for a walk avoid the summer and grab a good place to see the sunrise over Uluru

Nearly all people who come to Yulara wish to go to Ayers Rock in the early morning hours. AAT Kings provides plenty of big coaches to pick up the travellers from many hotels and lodges to watch the sunrise. Begining of May in Australia is...More

The zone is nice and so the walk, but if you will just do the Creek Walk I really think it doesn't worth the wake up at 4 am, the 6 hours you'll spend in the bus to get there from Ayers Rock, the 135£...More

I'm booked on the 3Day Uluru & Kings Canyou Tour but I'm really worried about the luggage allowance: Luggage Allowance: - One medium size suitcase per person, the sum of its length/width and depth not to exceed 140cm (56") plus one piece of hand luggage which may be carried on-board the coach. Maximum weight of all luggage must not exceed 20Kg (44lbs). AAT Kings are required by strict Government vehicle weight regulations to enforce and adhere to this limit. I'm travelling from the UK and staying in Australia for 3 weeks and my flight luggage limit is 23Kgs and 7Kgs hand luggage which seems reasonable as it will be cool in Sydney and hot in Port Douglas. I'm just wondering what will happen to my additional 10kgs of luggage. Can anyone give me any reassurance? Many thanks

I would be surprised if they strictly enforced that. There are many of us Aussies that travel too that won't carry that much luggage, so as long as their limit doesn't exceed the weight allowance for a full bus, it should be... More
Has anyone gone on the Kings Canyon Day Tour which starts from Ayers Rock and ends in Alice Springs? I just booked it and am looking forward to this one during my upcoming vacation in Winter!

Can you please give me some idea of the average price for an a la carte main. Planning to visit with group of friends and needing to know if it would be within their budget. Thanks Cathie

I had a great (and reasonably priced meal) from the noodle bar in the town centre, but there are a variety of restaurants around the resort, some expensive, others more reasonable. Most of the accommodation places have... More
