We were part of a tour group that had a meal cooked for us by Bob Taylor under a full moon near Simpsons Gap. The setting was very nice - with the full moon rising, the ranges and the ghost gums were nicely highlighted.
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of an evening meal with Bob and his crew, Doug and Craig.
Lovely setting, isolated and seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
It was a great experience, both food wise and from a cultural point of view....More

From the time Bob picked us up at 3 pm until home at
10pm, we were entertained & enthralled.
We felt privileged to hear Bob's knowledge of the local Aboriginal culture, early settlement & his passion for the area that he shared with us.
Bob prepared the most amazing bush dinner for our tour group. The menu included such mouthwatering delights as Kangaroo, Emu and a wonderful dessert, steamed Quandong pudding, all cooked on site at his campfire under the stars and accompanied by fresh baked bread.
Bob, Penny and Doug made this evening fantastic. Doug's tour with commentary on the walk was a fabulous insight to the area and Bob's dinner was the best we had on our trip. Perfect location, fantastic experience. Can't recommend it enough.
