ANZAC Hill is central to town and overlooks it in all directions. As a war memorial, it also overlooks historic areas like ANZAC Oval where troops camped during WW2.

We took a walk up to Anzac Hill early one morning. It can get hot so be prepared with water and an early morning start. It is a reasonably easy walk up the Hill but there is also a road and car park at the...More

Situated at the north of Alice Springs with beautiful views , particularly at sunrise and sunset. The memorials to the fallen of Australia's are a fine reminder to those who did not return.

A plain, simple but effective memorial overlooking the central areas. It was a good spot from which to view the setting sun, that is apart from the ubiquitous flies

The hill serves two purposes in Alice. The main purpose is to remind you of the Australian lives lost in past and current conflicts and it does this very well and respectfully. For this reason alone it is worth taking the time to go up...More

ANZAC Hill is a very respectful reminder of the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we could be free. The approaches on the road up to the monument show the campaigns that Australians have been apart of and have been very...More

It’s a nice 360 degree view looking out over Alice. Just off the Stuart highway, not far from the centre of town.

Up over all of 'the Alice', this memorial, winding uphill, affords a great "over-view" of the surrounds.

Perhaps contact the tourist information or local council. I normally take photos if I want to read the info again later, but didn't this time.

Yes there was good lighting when we visited during sunset and it is popular so I'm assuming they keep it well lit. Sorry I have been so long in answering I have been in hospital. I hope this helps.
