We visited the Chasm to do a cultural tour last month and it was easily one of the best stops we made on the Stuarts Highway. We had a fantastic (and huge) lunch and morning tea included in the price and Rhonda was an excellent...More

Standley Chasm is a must visit to Central Australia and is best visiting around noon when the sun is over-top and the chasm turns a beautiful red. There is a nominal fee to enter the chasm and it is well worth it. (If you are...More

It was nice to relax after the walk through the chasm with a nice mango icecream that they are noted for in this out of the way kiosk.

Lovely kiosk staff but the place is a rip off for what it is. The walk doesn't have much to see on the way and the chasm wasn't all that spectacular. Suggest a $5 fee.

The walk into the Standley Chasm is a must do if you are visiting the fabulous West McDonnell Ranges. We were lucky enough to be there in the middle of the day when the sun was shining into the chasm - SPECIAL.

The walk to the Chasm winds through some beautiful scenery with lots of bird life. The colours of the Chasm walls at the end of the walk were just stunning. We were there at mid-day and it was very busy, but I think it would...More
