all kinds of reptile, my boyfriend loved this place, you can see the crocodiles and interact with reptiles, very imformative.

Easy to find, has interesting creatures, good presentation and knowledgeable staff. You get to hold snake etc and learn about the reptiles here and in Australia. Small gift shop too

You get to see a lot of reptiles - sadly no spiders which we had really wanted to show the kids as well. Very pricey for the three basic rooms of animals.

It was interesting. I'm petrified of snakes but got to touch one. They seem harmless in this environment. Not much to do in Alice, this can be something if you've got time there.

A 30 to 45 minute walk from the Double Tree by Hilton. It's a small place but the staff made it worth seeing. Very informative. We were given the opportunity to hold a huge snake. Part of the reptile center is inside(snakes) and the rest is outside.

This is only a small place to visit, they have a talk and then you can hold a lizard or a snake, and you can walk around and view different species of reptiles and a small area outside too. Good for overseas tourists I guess.

We have heard so much about the poisonous creatures of Australia that we jumped at the chance to visit this exhibit. The first room is devoted to geckos and like creaures. As most of these are nocturnal the room is dimly lighted and no flash photography is allowed. A lecture was given three times a day and the brave at... More

Only a small place but packed with different types of smallish snakes in glass cages with a couple outside and a croc called Terry who made an appearance. The owner Rex was both informative and interesting and his stories were very amusing. He was very knowledgeable and made us aware of the dangers of different types of snakes and although... More

If you are visiting the Red Centre for the first time, the Reptile Centre should be your first stop - especially if you are planning to tour during the warmer months. Australia is home to many highly venomous snakes that are active from early spring to late autumn. At the Alice Springs Reptile Centre you can see for yourself all... More

Small but Rex the owner more than compensates. He hosts small groups and is amazingly informative and funny about all of his critters. Star of the show is Terry the saltwater crocodile...worth a visit.
