Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My trip to Central Australia was made extra special thanks to Wild Honey Travels. Kimberley is very knowledgeable, passionate and respectful of this sacred and amazing land, its peoples and culture. I was fortunate to have four full days of 4WD and hiking in East and West McDonnell Ranges, Palm Valley, Glen Helen, Ormiston Gorge and many other spots where there was no one else to be seen. I loved being able to swim in peaceful waterholes, watch sunsets, visit art galleries and share stories. Not only is Kimberley very professional but she is a genuinely nice person. When my friend came down with Covid Kimberley went out of her way to help her with supplies and to check on her wellbeing. I highly recommend Wild Honey Travels for anyone looking to explore the Alice Springs area in depth and in a very personalised way.

We wanted to see the West MacDonnell Ranges and were mindful there was so much to absorb that we chose to take a tour not self-drive. We also wanted to go at our pace and not be unnecessarily hurried.
Wild Honey Travels with owner/operator Kimberley Morgan was the perfect solution.
Kimberley did more than take us on a tour – it was an adventure where she freely shared her knowledge of country, plants and animals, geology, and the outstanding locations. Importantly she welcomed our questions, answering those about the culture and lives of indigenous peoples with utmost respect.
Kimberley pays attention to detail – from the admin tasks of email exchanges over several months, to receipting payment and supplying a contract through to her practical guidance on the day. She had reference booklets to identify plants, and I am sure carried the emergency necessaries in her ever-present backpack. When we came to take a swim in the Ormiston Gorge, surprisingly, she produced 2 flotation noodles! Kimberley was a great conversationalist, she was courteous and punctual, and her driving exemplary.
We highly recommend Wild Honey Travels for exploring the Red Centre....it is such a special place it deserves a specialised tour operator.

Kimberley was very accommodating to provide a private tour to Rainbow Valley on a public holiday. It was an amazing experience- made more so with Kimberley’s wealth of knowledge and understanding of this amazing land. A truly fabulous afternoon and one I will long remember. We booked the Private Tour of Finke Gorge NP including Palm Valley. Kimberley was the perfect host whose knowledge of flora and fauna was excellent. She took us on the Kalarranga and Arankaia walks, explaining plants and other items of interest in a unhurried way. We were impressed by her attention to safety in what was a remote and hazardous but beautiful landscape.
A thoroughly enjoyable day out and well worth the cost of a private tour.

Kimberley not only has a wealth of knowledge of the area, she is fun, flexible, accommodating, engaging and tailors tours according to your capabilities. Most impressive is her hospitality.
I booked 5 tours with Kimberley out of which I unfortunately was able to complete only 2.5. When I tested positive and went into quarantine, she called regularly to check up and kindly dropped off supermarket goods I couldn't have delivered - a life saving gesture!
Through her I discovered stunning vistas, waterholes, amazing walks in Central Australia. Thank you so much, Kimberley, it has been a real pleasure!

Kimberley curated a magical 3 days of wonder and exploration, taking us to places we'd never have found ourselves. We loved the majesty of the West and East Macs and will be back for more adventures. Totally worth the cost of a private tour!

We did two days of touring with Kimberley. The first day to East McDonald ranges and the second day to West McDonald ranges. Both days were amazing. Kimberley has an amazing knowledge of local Fauna, Flora, and culture. She is an absolute pleasure to be with and very caring about the group. She took us in her 4WD to places we would never have gone ourselves and the days were amazing. I highly recommend Kimberley for any private tours in Alice Springs.

This is an old mission which has been kept intact. It is also the birth place of Aboriginal painter Albert Namatjira. The history of the mission and its different houses, its school, its church, its tannery etc... is very well explained. Interestingly the German Lutheran missionaries respected the local culture and language of the native people. The small art gallery displays a statue of Namatjira and paintings from his children. The shop sells souvenirs and Aboriginal paintings at a very good price. Bring your own picnic and drinks since the place does not get enough visitors at present to open its eatery.

Couldn't rate highly enough. Guide was very knowledgeable, but not in a bookish way. Provided info through very natural conversation. Tweaked the tour to suit our wants/needs. No rushing, just let us enjoy the beautiful natural surrounds.

We just completed 1.5 days touring the wonderful MacDonnell Ranges with Kimberley. We had a great time! Kimberley was informative, attentive, organised, security minded and fun to be with. We visited Hermannsburg on the first day which we highly recommend as Kimberley ensured we got to speak to local people and really get a sense of what it is like growing up and working in communities such as this. The second day was hiking in the Eastern MacDonnell ranges, specifically John Hayes and Chain of Ponds Loop and N'Dhala Gorge, which was topped off with lunch at Ross River Homestead. 1.5 days is not enough to see everything we wanted to see in the region so we will definitely be coming back, and we will be definitely booking Kimberley again. Thank you Kimberley for a very memorable visit.
