A group of six of us did a 5 day gliding course. It was fantastic. We each flew at least twice each day with highly experienced trainers and developed some good flying skills, although none of us managed to solo. These people are very friendly and just want you to enjoy flying as much as they do.

With a few friends, just completed a 5 day gliding course with Rob, Jenny and the team. It was unbelievable. Extremely competent, patient and instructors who are now friends, made it an unforgettable and special experience. Learnt heaps in fantastic gliding conditions with breath-taking views of the red centre to go with it. If this is something you want to do, then this is the place to do it.

A group of 6 of us just completed 5-day intensive gliding course. All of us agreed that this was an amazing experience and we highly recommend it in all aspects. The teachers were amazing, (Two of us per teacher), The gliders are great, the facilities are excellent. Doing the course in Alice Springs means you are almost guaranteed perfect gliding weather for learners every day. Robert and Jenny who run the course are great, easy to get along with and are very accommodating. They were happy to move dates on an ongoing base due to Covid issues and nothing was ever a problem. We are all in our 60's and all were able to confidently fly the gliders by the end of the course although not quite solo. If you are looking for an amazing experience, reasonably priced with wonderful instructors then this is the place to go.

Amazing experience! First time flying in a glider was something special. Instructor Jenny was very lovely and encouraging. And the view from so high above is beautiful (photos don't do it justice)! I highly recommend anyone coming to Alice Springs to try this out. I did an intro lesson where Jenny walked me through glider controls and etc. I also got to talk to few other instructors there - all very nice and kind people =)

Great way to view the outskirts of Alice Springs. Registration was relatively quick to complete and there really isn't much to the aircraft itself so orientation didn't take long either. Had a few hiccups with the booking but it sorted itself out in the end. If you've got the time it is worth it.

Family of 3 spent a magnificent afternoon in the sky. The weather was perfect, and the instructors super friendly. This is a hidden gem, just a short drive outside of Alice Springs. Great fun for locals and visitors alike, a must do when visiting the Centre.

This is well worth the time and money. I had a very personable adventure with breathtaking views. I got to pilot the glider for a short time and my pilot was very friendly, knowledgeable, and motivating.

I was looking for something fun to do for my birthday while in Alice Springs and I am SO glad I found this place! It is easy to miss as there are so many companies offering experiences but I went for the one day gliding experience. The instructors were so helpful and welcoming. I had them both to myself for the day and they went through all the details with me and we ended up doing 6 flights throughout the day. I started off just enjoying the amazing views but by the end of the day I had started to fly the glider myself (with an instructor in the back with controls too!) It was such a memorable thing to do and I would highly recommend it. Thanks so much!

My wife and I had an amazing afternoon gliding with NT Soaring! What an incredible experience! The take off is thrilling and the views spectacular. Thank you to the experienced pilots Robert and Jenny, Gliding was an unforgettable experience!!
