The Botanic gardens are free to enter and a lovely place for anyone to visit, a nice cafe and lots of animals also shady trees to rest under and beautiful grounds.

Having the free Zoo and Bird Avaries are a fabulous idea. The train was not working when we were their but would be very popular for families.

We visited the Botanical gardens a few days ago. Beautiful gardens and kids loved looking at the animals. Very well kept and clean.

A wider variety and more extensive plantings of local and indigenous plants is needed together with identification labels and information about their role in the eco system and usage by aboriginal and european cultures.
