Small and interesting
Oct. 2019
Smaller than other malls like say Westfields, although that means you can't get lost. Doesn't have the big brands but it still has a lot of basics like a supermarket and many retail outlets. A big food court which would satisfy anyone for daytime snacks or lunch.
The big plus for me is the art-house cinema.

A convenient location small shopping mall with an art-house cinema
Jul. 2019 • Friends
The cinema has good movies, the Japanese discounted household store is great with all sorts of interesting goods, and the food court and eateries around the mall offer plenty variety and low to mid level prices. All good

Small park on edge of CBD
May 2019 • Business
A good place to take a breather. Close the Central Mall (which has a cinema) and the Central Railway Station.

Hydroponics Galore
Jan. 2019 • Couples
My wife and I visited this 34 story building (One Central Park) and were awed by the plants covering the outside. Watering and feeding is done hydroponically. Our guide told us that the plants had only been growing for 3 years and they seems to be doing quite well. In time, I think, it will be a landscaping challenge. But, not my problem.

Fascinating architecture, so much to do
Sep. 2018 • Friends
A dynamic part of Sydney, almost another city and so different to the CBD and burbs. Fascinating complex of apartment buildings, eateries, shopping, theatres, almost self contained. So much buzz

Lively, Fun Area - Will Definitely Go Back
Jul. 2018
Decided to try Kensington St, Chippendale for dinner with friends. What a great part of Sydney. Will definitely go back.
The street is a part of the Central Park development and has been transformed into a ‘culinary precinct’. Historic warehouses and terraces, dating from 1840s are now home to shops, bars and restaurants. We ate at Eastside Kitchen, which I can recommend but the atmosphere of the whole area made us want to go back soon and try other places as well, esp Spice Alley.

HOW TO GET THERE:
It is opposite UTS (University of Technology). The centrepiece of the area is an amazing ‘live’ building – just look for the incredible vertical garden. I can safely say that you won’t miss it.
Parking is not particularly easy in this area, although there are some nearby paid parking stations and some street parking further around by Sydney Uni (if you are lucky). However better than driving, it is only a short walk from Central Station (under 10 mins) and a taxi home was easy.

Cool buildings, regular shopping.
Feb. 2018 • Solo
These are literally some of the greenest buildings I've ever seen with some exterior walls completely hidden by plants. Really cool and interesting experiment here. Inside the commercial shopping experience is just like anywhere else.

Amazing architecture and interest
Sep. 2017 • Solo
An exciting shopping and dining precinct, only a kilometre from the CBD but feels like another country, far more invigorating than a Westfield centre, doesn't have the focus on brands but has more reality. The buildings themselves are design statements, amazing architecture. A couple of hotels like Old Clare and the nearby street eating Spice Alley add interest.

Architecture and potany fusion done brilliantly.
Apr. 2017 • Solo
I remember the first time I saw Central Park in Sydney and thinking "What is this...?" It's a series of building that appear to be alive as they're covered all over in plant life and this is a high rise with portions underground that I guess is a mall, but that's not interesting compared to the way it's done. The food court was good, but when you come from the escalator and look up it's really quite a site. Even if you don't like malls, you should go see it, and especially if you're into architecture and plants. What a combo here... very well done!

This once was a Brewery
Jul. 2017 • Couples
The Developers have done a terrific job converting this site on which Sydney's oldest brewery was located into this mix of apartments, shops, restaurants, coffee shops and a pretty little park.
