My best advice- DON'T BOOK WITH THEM!!!

I have used these guys in the past and had good experiences however post Covid- OMG! Booked online via their website which was easy enough and paid via Paypal, also easy.

Website said you had to have printed copies of ticket- which is tricky when travelling. Called and they said a phone copy would do. After booking tickets I downloaded file - luckily as NO TICKETS were emailled to me. I emailled requesting the confirmation email but it never came.

Called the number as instructed upon arriving in Sydney- was told they'd be 20 mins.... after 30 mins another driver told me he hadn't seen Airbus for over 6 months and suggested I call... I called left a message and was then called back, The staff member was incredibly rude and ended the call by hanging up on me without resolving the issue.

Ended up having to pay $43 to get an Uber. Hotel staff called Airbus on my arrival and were directed to call the staff member I'd dealt with. He was rude to them also and feigned a bad connection and hung up on them also. The hotel manager was shocked but continued to follow up on my behalf (as I was very shaken and upset by the experience) in the following days. Company insisted my return transfer would be honoured.

24 hrs before leaving Sydney I called to confirm return transfer, spoke to someone else. He said he'd heard about staff members behaviour- but no apology was given. I was assured I'd be collected. Hotel also called on my behalf to check. Departure day we called again to reconfirm. At departure time I received a text message saying they'd called an Uber for me. Uber was fine- the driver was great .

This is not the way to run a business- shoddy on all counts. I have had to heavily edit this review and delete what was said to me and how I was treated as the company reported the review because I'd been brutally honest...so this is the sugar coated version.

I wanted to give no dots but one is a requirement....please avoid! I hadn't read the reviews prior as I'd had other good experiences with them. Please take heed and book someone else. There is a lot of bad reviews....we can't all be making it up!

The trasnfer I booked was a private service for my post international arrival quarantine in Sydney to take me directly to the airport for my final flight home to Queensland. This company was recommended to me by my quarantine hotel (Meriton Suites, Sussex St). I booked the trasnfer via the Front Office and later read the online reviews on this site; they did make me nervous! However, further research revealed that most taxi companies in Sydney have similar average ratings. In my case, my service could not be faulted. The vehicle was not new or luxe and no logo was displayed, but it was neat and tidy and satisfied the social distancing requirement separating me and the driver. The driver arrived early by around 5 mins with an update of his ETA provided via the hotel. He was helpful with my luggage on both ends of the journey and he was very pleasant and personable. He provided me with a receipt at the end of the trip, for which I paid in cash. The fare was competitive. I would recommend this service based on this experience.

After a harrowing two weeks in quarantine the last thing we were expecting was problems with the airport transfer. The transfer was booked by the hotel. We loaded all our bags, started driving and then he asks us if we are paying cash or a bank transfer. We said we were paying credit card and confirmed it was an Australian card. Would not accept it.

with a friend came to Australia in January . we are students, so could not spend a lot of money on transport, so we decided to use the services of this company and did not regret it. We were met on time, the driver helped to load the suitcases into the car. We drove with a group of people to different hotels, but got there quickly. the driver was very friendly, quickly drove to the hotel, helped to unload things. And all of this just for 11$ from each person! Can recommend Airbus to everyone! especially if you want to save money but get high quality service.

Prompt and Helpful
I read a lot of bad reviews on here, however our experience was great from the initial contact for a quote, until we reached the Airport.
Kate quoted us a fair price, considering we had 10+ pieces of luggage.
The bus was booked at 1315, driver called at 1255 to let us know he was outside and waiting..
All in all, a 10/10 experience Thanks

Two hour wait at the Airport

Will never use this service again. Yes it was cheap but we were suppose to be picked up from the airport and the bus was 2 hours late. Called several times and was told 'oh he will be there in 10 minutes'. Finally arrived, picked us up and then we had to return to airport as he had forgotten other customers. Talking to someone on his mobile phone with it in his hands, while driving............never ever again will I book with this company

We booked this with company in confidence January 2020, the transfer was a treat for our family for when we all arrived into LAX in February. So after a payment of $216-76 Australian dollars we felt comfortable that after a 14 hour flight our transfer would be waiting for us in Los Angeles ready to drive to Anaheim. I downloaded the app the day of travel, thank goodness I did. We landed, went through passport control, security then collected our bags and headed out into the jungle outside Tom Bradley, we followed the instructions and tried three times to call the number provided, no one answered so we went looking to see if we could find anyone to help us, we couldn’t, so I sent a text message to see if anyone would respond, we did get help but it’s all by delayed text messaging.
In fairness the lady who dealt with our issue was very nice, but told us there was no booking!!!! I had paperwork in my hand!
So there we were after a 14 hour flight, exhausted, two kids sitting on the curbside outside LAX airport, I was so embarrassed that this had happened, stressed and angry all at the same time. Eventually I was told to go to terminal 2 where we could get an Uber which we would need to pay for, then claim once we got home!!!! Really, by now we were not feeling very confident that after walking to another terminal we would find an Uber.
Family voted, and by now my phone was flat! That we hop on the Uber - Taxi bus which took us all to the parking area to get a taxi, we did this ending up with the nicest gentleman who drove us to our hotel in Anaheim, the ride actually cost about $50.00 less than the transfer.
If you are worried about coming out of the airport and finding a taxi etc don’t be it being run very well. You do need to pay for a taxi by cash.
I wish I could give these guys a minus score but they get one star as they did refund my money.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We booked this company through Jayride and we paid in advance. We informed them our flight arrival time. We followed all their instructions, no one in the terminal, so we walked to the Horseshoe area to wait. The time now was 12.45 pm. At 1.15 pm no sign of a bus so a call was made to the office, apology given and told it would be there within 20 minutes. Another 30 minutes passed no bus so another call was made and told it would be 10-15 minutes, still no sign. Two more calls made, put on hold then just music. At 2.15 pm we got a taxi to our hotel which cost us £40 or 80 Aus Dollars. On arrival at the hotel I phoned the company and made an official complaint. I was told to email them and they would respond, guess what, nothing at all. I have been in contact with Jayride and they have refunded me the cost I paid to Airbus but was told by Jayride it was down to Airbus to refund me taxi ride. I have emailed Airbus again asking for refund and they have ignored my emails plus they have not even responded to Jayrides emails. I cancelled the return journey from hotel to Airport due to unreliability. The morning of our departure Airbus turned up at the hotel for us. Within a few minutes I went down to speak to them and they had left and message left for me to call the office for another bus to collect me.
This company are totally unreliable, imagine if you missed an international flight due to them!!
I hope they read this review and respond and maybe we’ll perhaps not they may refund the cost of my taxi fare but I am not holding out.

Never again: driver arrived 1hour to late at the Hotel, lies on the telephone

Arriving at Sydney Airport and going to the hotel in the City Center was no Big Deal.
But: departure was only stress and no excuse from Air Bus.
The driver arrived 1 hour later than ordered and confirmed the day before!
We called several times, waiting outside with our luggage and a baby on a friday afternoon.
Finally our hotel called them to get a solution as they normally should have paid us a taxi to avoid that we needed to hurry through all checks, because with a baby you need more time at the airport.
On the phone they pretended that the driver would arrive in 5min, was just 2 lights away, the driver would bring us directly to the airport ...nothing but lies, we even had to wait 2 other Hotel stops before leaving for the airport.

We reached to get our plane, with diapers changed, but clompetely wet from running, without lunch and very unhappy with our choice of airport shuttle supplier.

There are other suppliers, if you don't like stress and lies, choose them.
