Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Store Beach is truly a Touch of Paradise on Sydney harbour. It's One of my favourite beaches to chill out at in Manly. You have to get there by boat or Kayak and sometimes when it is a super low tide you can walk around from Collins Beach and then go around to Quarantine Station. Usually quite a few boats there and it is a clean beach. Take a picnic and lots of water.

If you got dropped onto this beach with a blind fold you would swear it was on a tropical island...and it is about 10klm from Sydney CBD!
We were rafted up with four other boats during the new year period. Water was crystal clear, refreshing and the beach has beautiful sand.
It is only accessible via a boat, so either book a day trip or hire a kayak from Manly. No dogs allowed because it is a breeding area for penguins.

I heard that you could rent a Kayak at Manly for about $30 for 2 hours. So of course, I couldn't pass up this opportunity. I made my way on the Manly ferry from Circular Quay, about a 30 minute ride. I got my kayak, and made my way to this beach which was on the kayaking guide. I decided to get out for about 15 to 30 minutes, and just took it all in. It was gorgeous. I felt like I may have been on a deserted tropical island. Its amazing that somewhere that feels like a thousand miles away is located in a major metropolitan area. Store beach is definitely worth the effort via Kayak.

A great beach to kayak or paddle board to on a calm day or for the more brave if a little choppy. No amenities on this secluded beach so pack a picnic & plenty to drink & relax!

Store beach is an ideal location to paddle to from Manly. You can hire a kayak or sup board from Manly wharf & make your way to the secluded beach which is only accessible by boat. Worth taking a picnic & spending some time relaxing there. If you feel energetic kayak around to Collins Flat, another secluded beach, or to Quarantine beach where refreshments are available & public toilets.

We cruised into Store Beach in a friends 100 foot motor yacht ! Yep a big bugger and as we couldn't drop anchor the Captain used the thrusters to maintain our position as we enjoyed Lunch ! It's a beautiful little cove/beach that is actually famous on youtube for a Shark encounter !! Either way , we didn't dip out toes in as we were 3 stories high ! A great little secluded part of the Harbour & well worth a visit !

Beautiful spot. It's easy to access by water but also possible by land by walking on the rocks. Just be careful, wear shoes with good grip and take a backpack rather than a handbag to help with balance.
