Walked up to the bar and asked for their finest ale! Whatever it was we really enjoyed it. Loved the atmosphere and the food was pretty good.

We live close by this pub / restaurant and had walked by a number of times and it always looks busy, which is a good sign. We recently decided to call in for an early diner one evening. Its a traditional, relaxed place, but the food was good and value for money. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere and close... More

The beer sold here is brewed here. They do a great job ... all the beers are representative of style and very, very good. Great atmosphere with rough sandstone walls and polished brass fittings, well situated in the historic Rocks district of Sydney. Well worth a visit. Try the tasting paddle.

Very busy brewhouse pub (at the Kent Street end of the Rocks) with a good selection of beers. Good place to meet people who do not know Sydney that well.

This pub seems to be a magnet. We watched over 25 people walk in while 2 walked by in a 20 minute period. Great atmosphere, inexpensive, and a great history.

If you're in Sydney for a few days and you like a beer then this is one of the best pubs to go to. Wide range of beers very good pub food and a lovely building in a great location.

Came here for our Christmas Party for just under 40 people. Food was very good - either steak or pasta - both were good, as was the affogato dessert. Yum yum

I arranged to meet an old work colleague here for a pint. I walked from George Street down past Circular Quay and through The Rocks. I actually walked under the Harbour Bridge and up Argyle Street to get here. It is a lovely stone building and on entry feels just like an English pub. Apparently this is the oldest licensed... The Three Sheets beer I had here, was one of the best I have tried in Australia. The Nachos helped it go down superbly. Well worth the visit.
