Fascinating area on the north shore of Sydney harbour. Get off the ferry at Milsons Point Wharf and walk along there boardwalk past Luna Park and you will find yourself on part of an arts trail. Lots of little comical statues as well as great views across the harbour.
There is a toilet conveniently placed and keep going and you will find the remains of a boat ramp. Take the opportunity to visit Wendy's Secret Garden while you are there.
Interesting part of Sydney to explore.

There is no better starting point to view Darling Harbour and walk on Sydney Harbour Bridge than Milsons Point. It can be accessed by train that stops right at the stairs (photo) leading to Sydney Harbour Bridge. Many people and families visit this place for park (small), seaside walk to Lavender Bay, Kirribilli Club for lunch and Lunar Park with kids. There are just so many things you can do at Milsons Point, or rather starting from this place. My favourate walk is to go down to Lavendar Bay from Milsons Point train station, have a lunch at Kirribilli club then cross the bridge to look at the beautiful Darling Harbour before landing on Circular Quay under fine weather. Amazing experience!

We went across on the ferry from Circular Quay, only a few minutes ride to the North Shore.Get off beside the amusement park, LUNA PARK.
From there we walked up the hill beside the entrance road to the Harbour Bridge.
You are in Kirribilli then .
This is where Kirribilli House is,the official Sydney home of the Prime Minister of Australia ,
It sits right out on the point facing the harbour waters.
We found the lift and the steps that take you up onto the footpath and then walked across the very busy SydneyHarbour Bridge.
Spectacular views over the harbour, Circular Quay and the Opera House.
From the north lift to the south lift is about 1.6 Kilometres, a very nice scenic walk

I spent NYE alone as a tourist in Sydney this year, and watched the amazing Fireworks display from Milson’s Point. The view of Circular Quay and the Opera House is beautiful. There are plenty of places to sit and have a picnic, and the view at night is amazing. Also, easy access to PT with Milson’s Point train station 200 metres up the hill.

Accessible park which has stunning views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Pack a picnic or get some take away from the local shops and come down with a picnic rug or on benches to sit and enjoy the view. Watch the sunrise or sunset - whatever your fancy. These are million dollar views which is for everyone to enjoy! Have returned a second time already bringing a friend a long for the view.

It is worth visiting Milson's Point just for the views. There is not a lot to do, really, in this part of Sydney, except visit the usual shops and so on, but there is one area you just cannot miss. The area around the bridge where you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the Opera House, Sydney Harbour and surrounds. It is absolutely magical! There is a lovely park where you can sit and relax, and there is a walkway where you can enjoy the surrounds. And this is where some people go to visit Luna Park! You can easily visit Milson's Point either by train or by ferry, or you can waste your time and patience and .. drive your car! The choice is yours.

There is nothing at this address at Campbelltown. It must mean the Milton’s point on Sydney harbour.

Everyone wants to get that postcard photo of Sydney's iconic skyline.
My top tips as a photographer (MRyan Photography) are:
1. Get there early, an hour before sunset and find the right angle. Tour buses come on a weekend with hundreds of people cramming into the corner near the opera house.
2. Hold your ground! People can get pushy, if you have a tripod, set it up!
3. Stay until after sunset and after the tour buses leave to see the city illuminated.
Good luck and happy shooting.

I find Milsons Point Train Station the best place to walk the Sydney Harbor Bridge from. Trains frequent here and is an easy walk to the start of the Bridge walk, however there are a few steps to walk up first

We watched the fireworks from Milsons point and it was a great location. No need to arrive too early ( we got a great spot arriving at 3pm), and were underneath some of the best fireworks. You don't get the head on view, but the atmosphere of being that close is amazing.
