Hyde park is in a great location, very well maintained. My accomodation was just over the road, my room was facing the park views never to be forgotten. Easy to get there station just outside the park.

Wrack your brains over the large chess set in the north and pay respects to the war memorial in the south. Very beautiful views from the Archibald Fountain, especially that of St Mary's Cathedral. Grab a homemade popsicle from the push-cart near-by!

A great place to enjoy a family get together. The gardens are just beautiful. Always seems to be a place of many travellers.

Was walking by here watching local workers playing bat and ball with a shovel. It was really refreshing and enjoyable to share in their exuberance for life.

Great place to relax on a sunny day. Why eat lunch in a shopping mall, when you can buy take away and eat it here?!? I'm so glad that Sydney's planners included this lovely big park in the middle of the city.

Has a beautiful fountain, nice place to sit and have your lunch. Some homeless people sleep in this park at night so don't trip over them.
