    Simply fantastic!!
Not many cities are fortunate enough to have such a fabulous green space in the center of the city. Hyde Park is fantastic, with huge trees, fountains, statues and flowers. A fantastic oasis in the midst of the city!

    Beautiful park
Lovely well kept park right in the centre of the city, worth taking a stroll through and admiring. There’s loads of seating throughout and given the convenient location next to the shopping district and key sights it’s easy to pass through. A very peaceful spot in the centre.

    Gorgeous park!
One of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen! The trees are absolutely amazing. I took so many pictures, but they don't do it justice. There these birds called ibises that walk around. I had never seen one before. It was nice to just sit on a bench and people watch and relax.

Large, well kept park in city centre
Large, well kept park in the city centre with lots of fountains, wide walkways, shady areas. Great place for a relaxing walk. St. Mary's Cathedral next to the park is also worth visiting.

a little oasis in the big city
I always like parks in a city. This is a nice park for a stroll with the Anzac memorial there as well. For my taste it is to small to use it for a run, but it is nice, green and lush and provides shade when needed, or some sun during the colder winter months. There are many places along the park to get a drink and enjoy it in the park

We walked through Hyde Park on our way to the St. Mary’s Cathedral. Once we entered the park our pace slowed down and we enjoyed the leisurely stroll. We thought the fountain was definitely the highlight of the park. Since the park is located in the city there are many shops and restaurants in the area as well.

Midst of lush green covered by big leafy trees is the heritage park situated in the Central Business district of Sydney over a 16 Hectare land. This is divided into two parts North and South,.
Several monuments are located in the Northern side most notable is Archibald Fountain a gift from J H Archibald. A bronze Apollo is surrounded by horses' heads Dolphins and Tortoises.
In South section ANZAC war memorial and refection pool is located. One can also notice the statue of Captain Cook the English explorer of East Coast of Australia.

What a fantastic park to visit right in the city centre. Great for a walk through or having a picnic. There are plenty of park benches and lots of shaded areas in the park. There is a cafe in the park with other cafes and restaurants very close to the park. Good transport links to and around the park.

This is a large park in Sydney. It is Australia's oldest park and is 40 acres. It is on the State Heritage Register and built from 1810-1927. It has many statues and memorials including the Anzac Memorial which is a memorial to all Australians who has served in the wars. It was built from 1932-1934 to remember all the men and women who served in the First World War. It also has the Archibald Fountain named after JF Archibald, owner and editor of the Bulletin magazine. There is a larger than life statue of Captain James Cook which opened in 1879. The Emden Gun is another monument in Hyde Park. There is the Pool of Reflection and Yininmadyemi-stunning bullets of steel in respect to all the Indigenous people who served in the wars.

Great space to just sit on a bench and watch the world pass. Or sit on the grass or the end of the fountain and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine while eating lunch.
The part is in two halves with the War Memorial at one end and a Fountain at the other.
Only a 15 min walk from end to end. Car park beneath or underground railway at Museum and St James.
The door way to the roads leading to the Botanical Garden, Opera House and the Harbour.

Within the CBD you will find Hyde Park. It's full of activity - people sitting on the grass, joggers, tourists, buskers, skateboarders, workers having lunch. An enjoyable spot to just sit and watch the world go by. There is a lovely fountain in the centre.

Hyde Park is Sydney's lovely park. The city is hungry for some green space and this is a sample of what it has to offer. There isn't really too much more. It is a wonderful park with some grand old trees, water features and plenty of space to relax, in the middle of a very busy city. Hyde Park is an oasis in the large modern city of Sydney.

Hyde Park is a park in the middle of the city in Sydney. It's a great place to have a rest from all the walking in Sydney; you can just sit on the grass, have a sandwich, and soak up the sun.

It is close to the Museum and St. Mary's Cathedral. Has two train stations underneath it St. James and Museum.

Centrally located in Sydney, the park is truly an oasis of relaxation. Cleanly landscaped and beautifully planted, the park invites you to linger. Making yourself comfortable on the lawn is explicitly not prohibited - but allowed.
