....or indeed, all the way to/from Maroubra Beach. I just finished the walk from Bondi Beach to Watsons Bay which took me around 1.5 hours (it was as just under 10km). I'm pretty fit and walk all the time without stopping so allow more time...More

Spent a week here. Cool place, wonderful views. Restaurant and services were a bit sparse, but not bad...just limited selection. Staff of the hotel were friendly. I. Terms beaches... go to Bondi. For privacy, Watsons bay is great.

Watson's Bay is only minutes from the CBD on the ferry, yet you feel like you are a million miles away from the busy city centre! Lovely area, with an abundance of nice restaurants!

When I visited Watson's bay, I just had to have the oysters and fish and chips from Doyle's. I did the takeout and sat in the seating area Doyle's provided. After that is was a long pleasant hike on the Gap Bluff walking track.

We took a bus to Watson's Bay then took the ferry back to downtown Sydney. A very nice place to walk around, have a meal and spend time away from the city.
