the ferry to the Bay is a good start and a short walk through the Sydney Harbour National Park is peaceful and a good chance to have a great view of Sydney. You can also have a swim in one of the more private beaches, right at the entrance of the park, where you can see a residential area pretty... More

Looking for something todo, or a visitor. This bay is the perfect place to visit by ferry (a cheap way to see the harbour). Especially on a Sunday as there is a cap on travel with the opal card at $2.50. There quite a few eateries and cafes to enjoy and just a short walk to the gap, steep cliffs... More

You can either go by Ferry or bus to this stunning location. The beautiful beach is just the start of this gentle steep walk. Plenty of water and a hat is recommended as well as a camera to take photos! Beautiful views of the city and the Bay of Sydney.

I went to Watsons Bay yesterday for a family day and happened again Kadoo Indigineous Tours doing a bushwalk of South Head for a cost of $44 per person. What a fabulous, interesting, valuable lesson myself and my children had yesterday. We were greeted by local Historian and Author Grant Hyde and Indigineous Expert Tim Ella. They took us on... More

We were already all tired of travelling but kids loved the short ferry ride, there is a park close to were you arrive and just a short walk across one can already see the beautiful ocean. There is the opportunity to walk a bit more too, which our children were not up to. But a play on the covered playground... More

Reachable by car, bus and ferry, this is a very good spot to hang out. Great view on Sydney Harbour and CBD, also the pacific ocean, good restaurants and bars, and a beautiful park to sit and relax. Moreover, I have seen people also lie down on the beach while their children playing in the water. Ferries available from circular... More

I was fourtunate enough to grow up in Watsons bay and I really miss living here. I miss the village feel that surrounds you by serene water views, lush green parks and a few of the best harbour beaches in the country.

This is a relative peaceful and charming bay but didn't attack too many visitor. It is a home to many yachts and the view overseeing the CBD is very beautiful especially in the evening. Due to the bay is quite protected from strong wave it is very suitable for children to play around. Walking across the park, you will be... More

Took a ferry to Watsons Bay. Quaint little village. Primary stop includes lunch or dinner at Doyles a restaurant that has been operating for many years. We did not take the time for such but were told that the lunch was a little pricey but very good. Several viewing points in the park of the Pacific Ocean. Would recommend this... More
