I was really looking forward to visit this place, but very disappointed once there., i honestly don't think is worth it to pay for getting acces., the only nice view you get is at the top but once going down the streets it was not...More
Amazing ocean views..... Sitting, relaxing peacefully and gazing at the the Lovely Horizon.... It was just amazing.... Highly recommended....
We walked from Coogee to Clovelly Beach. A wonderful walk....
Definitely going for the whole Bondi Coogee walk!
Clovelly beach made a fantastic substitute to nearby Coogee when the strong rip tide
'closed' the beach there. A short drive away Clovelly is a narrow bay forcing the waves to break off-shore, leaving on the roughest of days the option of getting in the...More
Whatever you do don't forget your bathers. The swimming areas are gorgeous and there's good snorkelling. A beautiful walk will take you around the ocean for miles although we only went around 2 bays as we were short of time.
Closely Beach is not your typical Sydney beach. It's a small, calm beach at the mouth of a narrow bay. Sand at one end and concrete on both sides. If that sounds unusual, it is, but it's a perfect spot for sun baking and relaxing...More
Clovelly Beach is a small protected area which is ideal for families who do not enjoy the surf. It is usually quite calm with very few waves except in very high seas. A good introduction to the surf for novice swimmers.
Bring your snorkelling gear. This is an oasis by the sea.Tranquil when the ocean is not too rough, and there's plenty to look at under the water ,with a diverse range of fish and sealife. Well set up here.
We stayed in clovelly for two weeks as my nephew was getting married.
There were 8 of us in a beautiful five bedroom house with a pool that we hired privately.
Clovelly is a small town with nothing going on much.
The beach is a...More
Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs that does not have big waves, making it an excellent family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity
footballers! A little further south is Wylie’s Baths, offering sweeping 180 degree views over the Pacific Ocean, and it is perfect for a swim or a few laps. Plenty of dining choices surround the beach, including the famous fish and chips.

There is no charge at this beach, it is a beautiful, free public beach. There are fish all year round, it is safe and clean. This is the first month I would swim after winter. The sea temperature is warming up to about 20 degrees Celsius. It will continue to warm up to about 24 in January and you can swim comfortably until the end of April. Enjoy
