Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A beautiful park with plenty to do...have a picnic or a walk, ride a bike or lie in the sun or under a shady tree! Great playgrounds and plenty of places to explore.

We really wanted to see a colony of wild flying fox fruit bats in Australia but could find no information online for locating one, other than a tour offered only one time per week. Finally our Sydney hosts pointed us to the Lachlan Preserve by the Lily Pond in Centennial Park. Jackpot - several thousand Grey-headed Flying Foxes are easily and close visible in the day time, with excellent opportunities to observe and photograph them at close range. We could not believe this amazing site was not listed on any web page anywhere. It is free to visit on your own. The park also provided unexpectedly amazing birdwatching and wildlife viewing for an urban park.

We got married last year at your venue and wanted to take a quick 1yr anniversary photo this weekend. We were trying to figure out a way to take a photo close to the restuarant and unfortunately a park ranger (white male, 40s) misinterpreted our behaviour. We were threatened with a fine, apart from being highly concerned that we now have a $600 fine - I was left extremely upset and really damaged my memories of being married at Homestead. If rangers are representative of the park, it is important they understand their role in customer service. It's laughable that the website directs visitors to contact the park rangers for any help or emergencies, they have an extremely poor reputation and I've now been victim to it. If this is the standard of the park's rangers, Im really concerned how others are treated when reaching out for support or help from the rangers. Absolutely horrible. Would have made me question having my wedding here if it happened a year earlier.

A very well laid out park with ample parking and the safety in mind for pedestrians, bike riders, and skaters. There are an abundance of picnic spots and numerous bathrooms throughout the park. The site is a haven for bike riders and runners, or just to pull up the grass for a picnic lunch. The site is enormous and there is plenty of room for all.

Located at the top of paddington, is this huge lovely green space that is very popular, with cyclists and walkers alike, the perfect place for a picnic on a sunny day.

Found this park while walking out from he Rocks. Located under the bridge and bordering portions of the harbor. It has plenty of grassy areas, plenty of trees and some historical monuments with restaurants nearby.

Centennial Park has a treasured place in Australia's history. Centennial Park commemorates the foundation of Australia in 1788; the park was opened in January 1888. Centennial Park was the inspiration for the formation of the Commonwealth of Australia in 1901. Centennial Park is the largest urban park in Australia, it's a marvelous place for a walk or a run, and it's right in the center of Australia's largest city.

We were so lucky to be living just a few blocks away from this iconic sydney park. The sheer vastness of this beautiful park is awesome. The well curated lawns and plants and serene ponds make it a joy to visit and one can spend hours here.

This park would be so much nicer without all the traffic, pollution and noise.
Also a lot of dogs let loose in the kids play areas.
