Our trip was was very enjoyeable and informative because of Mr. Mick our tour guide. The owner, Chapo even welcomed us to our breakfast towards the blue mountains. We really enjoyed the stories of Mr. Mick. That atbthe end of our tour we invited him for coffee at Darleeng harbour. I will definitely recommend this tour. 100% satisfaction gauranteed.

The Aboriginal experience with Yamandirra was absolutely incredible. He was informative, friendly, and provided us with a lot of stories about the indigenous people of the Blue mountains as well as the rest of Australia. I learned so much about the 7 Sisters and species of plants and animals native to the area. I didn’t want the tour to end! Our driver and tour guide, Menashe, was also top notch. He made us comfortable, answered our questions, and personalized the tour. It was fantastic! I highly recommend this tour of the Blue Mountains

Menashe was wonderful, kind, and informative. He knows his stuff! We missed our pickup and he made sure that we were able to connect up with him so that we could go on the tour. I can’t tell you how much we appreciated him for doing that!!!

Yamandeera (not sure I spelled that correctly) was an amazing aboriginal guide. His passion for his people, culture, and way of life is contagious. We learned so much from him (7 sisters not 3)!!

I would recommend Blue Mountain Tour to everyone.

At first my sister and I thought the 6:35am pick up was sooo early, but after our tour guide Sean explained the reason why, we totally agreed as it helped us to be ahead of many of the big bus tours the entire day.

From the time we left the pick up location Sean was a wealth of continuous information (Australian history) for the next 1 hr until we stopped for breakfast.

Since we had such an early morning pick up, I want to thank Blue Mountain Tours for including breakfast which provided a well appreaciated break in the 2 hrs drive. The way this tour is designed there are not long periods of just riding on the bus.

After breakfast the ride continued to Blue Mountain, and Sean continued to encourage us to disregard the dreary overcast day and appeaciate the beauty of Blue Mountain rain forest in all it's glory (cloudy, foggy, rainy and cold). He truly made us see nature through a nature lovers eyes, and thats a gift of a great tour guide. Even when this Miami, Florida girl was freezing cold, he offered to let me wear his jacket (he took it off and drapped it on my shoulders at one point). Sean was courteous and kind all day long.

Let's talk about the meals that were included, it was so refreshing to eat where the locals eat, instead of the normal tourist food. Both breakfast and lunch was very good.

Also I want to say the communication with Blue Mountain Tours (Chapo) was easy and welcoming. He always responded in a timely fashion, from reconfirming our pick up time and loation, to finding my sisters lost phone on the bus after the tour had ending.

Booking with Blue Mountain Tours was a great experience!!

We booked our tour through Viator months in advance. The tour operator was Zanza Tours and our guide was Menashe. Menashe was extremely knowledgeable about, the Blue Mountains, Sydney, and all things Australian in general. He has 20 plus years of worldwide experience as a tour guide, much of it in Australia. Because it was just me and my wife, we got extra special treatment. We have heard from others that tour operators will often cancel or substitute another tour when there are less than 6 tour members. Instead of doing this, he added stops along the way since with fewer members there is more time and flexibility. Our favorites additions were a drive by the Olympic Village and Venues from the 2000 Summer Olympics along with Sydney's history with these games and another was a private and remote overlook from the back side of the three sisters that we did not see listed on any of the other Blue Mountain tours. The food and beverages were excellent. There is nothing I can add about the Blue Mountains themselves as that has been covered by other reviews and the beauty of the Blue Mountains, the three sisters and the waterfall speak for themselves. In my opinion, this truly is the ultimate one day Blue Mountain tour. The Featherdale Wildlife Park visit that is included in the tour is spectacular. It focuses on animals that are native to just Australia. I never thought I would be feeding a pure white kangaroo or an adorable Quokka from the palm of my hands. This is a must book tour if you only have a day and want to fill it with as much variety and adventure as possible.

Thanks to this tour, our experience of the Blue Mountains involved walking into the rainforest, seeing waterfalls up close, and seeing the Three Sisters from many vantage points. Our aboriginal guide showed us that the three sisters are actually Seven Sisters. He gave us a deep insight into aboriginal rules of life and how these rules are taught through stories and physical representations like the Seven Sisters. He showed us edible plants which we sampled straight from the bush, such as sweet sasparilla. He pointed out Lyre birds. We enjoyed expansive views as we climbed through the diverse landscapes at different elevations of the mountain trail. The experience was so different, and so much fuller in our opinion, than a Scenic World ride would have been.

The rest of the day was also really enjoyable. At Featherdale Wildlife Park, we paid for our photo with a koala. There were many koalas and kangaroos. We only had an hour at Featherdale but it was the perfect amount of time because we were mainly interested in seeing Australian animals. The breakfast and lunch were delicious and we enjoyed talking to the other people on the tour. The van was comfortable and the guide's narration during the drive was very informative.

We are so glad we picked this tour as our aboriginal experience in Australia. It seemed warm, natural,
and authentic.

We were lucky to have enjoyed 2 separate tours with Sean as our Guide & Driver. Tour #1: Blue Mountains tour… From pick up to drop off, the day was a pleasure and well planned. Sean provided just the right amount of commentary along the way and we especially enjoyed the quick breakfast stop at Conservation Hut. Sean then made sure we had the best seats and viewpoints on the cable car rides and lookout points. Lunch was planned ahead of time… no wasted time. Terrific day!
Tour #2: With such a good experience on BM tour, Sean and Chapo then accommodated our group of 7 on a later day to Hunter Valley for a modified wine tour. In fact Chapo planned our private tour with less than 24 hour notice. We had a limited amount of time for traveling to Hunter Valley due to evening dinner plans, but Chapo planned a perfect 8 hour day… and Sean was our Guide once again. We adored Ashley Wilkinson winery and vineyard… Kat was a joy as she explained the history of their vineyard and we must have tasted at least 12 wines, including several straight from the barrel. Gorgeous setting! Thanks Kat! Then we enjoyed our second wine tasting with a variety of food pairings at Brokenwood. Fun gentleman who hosted us and answered our questions. A private lunch followed at Brokenwood on a covered patio that had been completely planned in advance.. delicious lamb. Beautiful winery! Great service!
Our return trip was quick and we made it back on schedule. Thank you, Chapo and Sean, for helping make our visit to Sydney so special with both of these tours!
