There are lots of shopping malls like Myer, Westfield and food courts. Usual hustle and bustle part like other cities'shopping districts. Chinatown is within walking distance. New visitors would have to keep in mind shops there close early at 7pm or before, compared with those...More

There is a huge food court in the basement of this mall. It is AWESOME with TONS of options to choose from. The Vietnamese stall serves delicious Pho bowls. From freshly squeezed juices to baked chocolate cakes, I am sure you will be able to...More

Much retail shopping and several interesting arcades including The Strand. Walked through here several times on the way to meetings but just seemed like a closed off section of street without any real character or ambience.

The atmosphere here is amazing. The people watching is amazing and the buskers are amazing. A great spot to sit and enjoy what Sydney has to offer.

Main retail shopping of Sydney seems to be in Pitt St. It's very busy, but worth a look. My first time to Sydney and I got a bit lost on where I had and hadn't yet been so not sure if I covered it all......More

great place to shop & eat, love that it is a mall you can just stroll down in & out of the shops, it does get very busy though. but it is a great spot to check out in the heart of sydney.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
