My first climb was at least 15 years ago. Not a lot of changes except the typical over the top Aussie OHS issues. Climbed in blinding rain and squalls - so they mean what they say 'we climb in all weather!' Fabulous all the same and highly recommend if you're visiting.

Better than the Statue of Liberty on par with the Grand Canyon and way less crowded than the Eiffel Tower . If you are visiting Australia just do it . The memories will far out weigh the cost.

You have to do this. If you come to Sydney do the climb it is the only was to see our harbour. The bridge itself is an icon but you will regret it if you do not do the climb. We did the twighliggt and watched the sun go down it was just beautiful. Once you are up there it... More

We did the climb in the evening, going up when the city was pretty much dark and thus we got to see it with all its lights on. The climb is certainly not cheap but a unique way to experience this landmark. No cameras are allowed for safety reasons...but also allows the operator to sell an additional photo package. If... I did the Briddge Climb about 12 years ago with my daughter and I was petrified. However, after going through the training process, and yes, the breath analyser (I did not think I would pass as we had a very late night) Anyway off we go. Everyone geared up in the gorgeous grey jumpsuits (no colours here, to match the... More

It was her birthday gift from me, the day went went it was hazy but as we climbed to the summit the day improved. I highly recommend this the only thing is it is not cheap, unlike when we went. Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
