Overview
More
A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

We took an Uber to Bondi Beach and walked to Coogee. Breathtaking walk. Windy at times. Absolutely recommended for your Sydney visit.

Lived in Sydney for a year. Did this walk at least 10 times whilst i was there. It was beautiful. Never got bored. After a few large storms we had to be careful of the rocks, but very very beautiful all the time. Often saw...More

Having done this walk both ways a few times and loved it , this time was ok but not as pleasurable. It was both a public holiday Monday and a school holiday. Was like being in the city centre. Waiting to get up/down stairs. Extra...More

This walk is easy peasy and really popular! There were so many people on the trail with us as we walked. The weather on the day we walked was a nice mix of sun and cloud meaning we didn't get too warm. I would definitely...More

A really lovely easy walk around the coast from Coogee to Bondi. Best to do it on a day that's sunny but not too windy or too hot. Some really stunning view, but the path does get very busy with dogs, families with young kids...More

One of the best things to do in Sydney on a weekend. It’s great to take a moment to appreciate its beautiful scenery whilst getting some good exercise out of it. Best to catch public transport to your end to end destinations so you’re not...More

Lovely walk, beautiful views. The sand rocks are amazing, with the color changes... Super blue sea where if you lucky, you'll see a whale tail. It's a long walk though, so be prepared! Don't miss the chance to climb near the natural pools, wet your...More

There are many walking paths in Sydney, all completely free! If you have a few days in Sydney and like walking, go to Manly Beach and the Blue Mountains as well.

I recommend to use public transport inside the city, but next to the Coogee Pavilion there is a car park. We started in Bondi and walked to Coogee. So you can end up in the Pavilion and eat or drink something there.
