Overview
More
A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

This is a great thing to do just a short distance from the city to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while. We took a cab to Bondi and had a fantastic breakfast in Bills, then took the 8k coastal walk to...More

This is a must, MUST do if you’re in Sydney. Doesn’t take too long to get here from the city on train. It’s a very pleasant walk, the path isn’t too rough. Plenty of people doing the walk - so it’s not isolated by any...More

Normal weekends are crowded and during the annual Sculpture by the Sea, even weekdays are horrible (they really could just leave the art up all year to avoid 3 weeks of overcrowding), but on a normal weekday, you'll never be alone but you also shouldn't...More

This has to be one of the more spectacular urban walks. Beautiful cliff top walks between iconic beaches. A must for any Sydney visit.

Casual walk with decent cafes and points to relax. Similar walks include the Manly walk north but hey this Bondi to Googee is a beauty. Very busy in summer but these Autumn days are a great time as well as Spring.

This is one of the must-do Sydney activities in my book. Great way to see the beautiful coastline, get some exercise and best of all it's free.

The train does not go all the way to the beach and it is quite a distance to walk there from the station. There are buses from the city or from Bondi Junction train station. From Bondi Junction take buses 333, 380, 381... More

There are many walking paths in Sydney, all completely free! If you have a few days in Sydney and like walking, go to Manly Beach and the Blue Mountains as well.
