A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

This was our favorite beach in Sydney. We took the bus from Sydney harbor to Bondi. We enjoyed walking along the boardwalk and along the beach. Watching the surfers was also fun. We sampled the sangria at the cafes (two thumbs up!). The beach is very clean and the water is beautiful.

This was one of my favorite things to do in Sydney. Took a Ferry to Watson Bay, then bus to Bondi Beach. The costal walk is all paved and the views of the cliffs and beaches are beautiful.

One of the most beautiful walks in the southern hemisphere. We're fifty plus and not well trained so everybody can do it. The sea was very rough that day (no surfing/no swimming allowed anywhere) but that just adds even more drama to the already very impressive scenery. Enough bars/cafes/restaurants on the way for a break or to fill up on... More

Take bus to Cogee beach and back from Bondi ($2.50 each way per person on OPAL card). Cogee beach to Bondi beach walk. About 6 miles of up and down terrain that is paved. Lots of people walking. Very safe with plenty of toilets and water along the way. Pass through or stop at 6 beaches and over majestic high... More

Bondi beach is great, but the walks on the coast beyond are astonishing. Craggy rocks, magnificent waves, stunning sea and sky views, little beaches along the way with excellent places to stop and eat. Not to be missed but not for Prams or wheelchairs.

We only had a few hours at Bondi. We took the train and bus from Darling Harbour to get to Bondi. It was a quick, uncomplicated journey. Once at Bondi we parked ourselves at the Surf Club, (2 adults, 2 kids, age 10,12) We enjoyed cold drinks, fresh oysters at a patio table over looking the ocean and infinity pool.... More

Breathtaking views, simply stunning. Well worth the time it takes to get around. Beautiful view points for photographs. Bondi and Coogee have some really great cafe joints. Handy bus service to and from city. It's defo a must do in Sydney.

Although it's a little busy around Bondi beach, it gets much better after about 10 minutes out and it's a very pleasant and easy walk with good coastal views, plenty of places to rest and take pictures or get water and easy to follow, it would be hard to get lost.
