Overview
More
A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

We chose to reverse the typical trip, starting at Coogee Beach. We quickly climbed above the beach to the Cunningham Reserve with its tidal pools and rocky cliffs, then past Gorgons Bay, Covellly Beach, and even a bowling green where two teams challenged each other....More

We started our walk from Coogee beach and end at Bondi beach. Awesome scenery along the way! It was 6km walk, but be prepared to spend a few hours there as there any up and down slopes, and breathtaking scenery that you will want to...More

Beautiful day outside of the city center. Incredible views...we didn't see any whales but others have during australian winter. Highly recommended if you enjoy outdoor walks. Not too strenuous outside of a few cases of stairs.

I first did this walk 22 years ago while solo traveling through Australia, and again 2 months ago with my family. It was just as beautiful the second time around. The path can get very crowded on fair weathered weekend, but the views are worth...More

I walked with a good friend for almost 3 hours as we had a lunch break. Best afternoon out. Next visit I hope to explore the Waverley cemetery - very overwhelming. The walk was a bit steep at times but exhilarating.

I'm looking at doing with with some 10 year old boys... who don't really want to walk. I'm wondering if they could use their little scooters on this? I realize there are some stairs which would require carrying the scooters, but is most of the walk scooterable? Thanks

I think there are better walks if you want your boys to scooter. Bondi to Coogee gets very busy at popular times, can get a little narrow, has stairs in quite a few places and is beside some roads for quite a distance at... More

When you are out there I guess you should do the Cogee to Bondi I think as it has less steps to climb.
