A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

We determined we wanted to do the Bondi to Coogee Beach Coastal Walk even before we set foot in Sydney and we fulfilled that goal. Getting to the starting point, Bondi Beach, was, for us, as easy as catching the train from Town Hall station to Bondi Jn. and then a short bus ride to Bondi Beach. The walk itself... More

We started our walk at Coogee and walked to Bondi. It was lovely and there were lots of spots to stop along the way if you wanted to. The views were lovely from the cliff tops

I have done this walk about 7 times. It would be my number 1 thing to do in Sydney. I train then bus to Bondi then do the walk at a leisurely pace. Take a towel swimming gear ,shorts, jandals(flip flops),sun screen and water and enjoy the walk. Plenty of beaches to stop at and have a swim on the way.... More

We actually went the opposite way and started at Coogee first; the path is quite easy to find especially when you reach the cemetery at Waverley. The views are stunning, the water looks so peaceful in the distance. Be careful of the stars and the incline but otherwise the path is pretty easy for a nice coastal walk or work... More

The view from the top is stunning... it's nothing compared in the earth. The weather was perfect that day, very sunny and mild breezes

A great walk to see lots of different beaches en route. Unfortunately we chose a Bank Holiday weekend to wak so it was very very busy with everyone out in the sun! Coogee was great to stop off at and we had a pizza and drinks in the Pavilion bar. Lots of places to stop to eat at the beaches... More

A friend had recommended this and I'm grateful for the suggestion. It is a breathtakingly beautiful walk with stone steps in several places when the elevation changes. Around each twist of the path is another photograph just waiting to be taken. A great way to get your exercise and enjoy the ocean!
