Booked a Maxi Cab through the Sky Maxi Cabs webpage for transport to the airport (bookings@skymaxicabs.com.au; (02) 9172 5504). I made the booking via phone as I wanted to ask a few questions first and make sure they had all the details correct. The website shows a range of shiny branded maxi cabs. They assured me they were 100% reliable, they would text me with a confirmation of my booking and they would arrive exactly on time. The reality was vastly different.
Firstly, I did not receive a booking confirmation. Secondly, the cab arrived 30 mins late. The cab was an old, beat up, unbranded white van. The interior of the cab was filthy and smelt stale. The driver drove like a maniac running red lights, presumably to make up time because they were late. Overall an extremely unprofessional service.
