It's not only a wine tour, but a wildlife, chocolate, cheese and beer tour!...

It's not only a wine tour, but a wildlife, chocolate, cheese and beer tour! A day trip from Sydney, try some amazing wines at small picturesque boutique wineries, as well as visit a chocolate factory, taste some local cheeses and visit a brewery. Our morning tea with kangaroos, koalas and other native animals is a very special experience too with sightseeing in the beautiful Hunter Valley countryside. Private tours are also a specialty for families and/or friends. Join us! Would love to have you along. Sydney city tours are also available.

I visited the Hunter with Kangarrific tours and I wasn't disappointed. The tour guide Sam is great. He's friendly and informative. Yes, there are some cheesy jokes but that's part of the fun, and definitely not a negative. The tour includes heaps of things not just wine, which attracted us and the fact you'll only visit small wineries is a... More

If you want to see some of Australia's native animals, eat some chocolate and fudge, have a great lunch, taste great wine and beer, and see the great views of the Hunter valley, you must go on this tour! We had a lot of fun during the whole trip. Sam took great care of us and made it a nice... More

Sam's enthusiasm is infectious and he pulls out all the stops to make sure everyone is looked after and has a good time. We were subjected to Sam's fabled repertoire of jokes throughout the day and even a couple of magic tricks. It therefore pretty much goes without saying that the tour itself of the Hunter Valley region was superb.... More

This day tour was a brilliant way to get a taste of the Hunter Valley region , and was definitely a day to remember and tell my friends about. It wa very nice to be in a small group - it almost felt like our private tour! Sam was excellent company for the day - and really seemed to enjoy... More

What a wonderful day Sam gave us! Our first stop was a wildlife preserve where we got to see koulas, kangaroos, emus, wallabies and Tasmanian devils. Back on the bus, Sam quizzed the group as to what kind of wine we enjoyed so that he could focus our tasting stops! He also had menus from the restaurants where we were... More

We have taken many small-group tours throughout the world, and this was by far one of the best. It was a very relaxed pace, and we never felt rushed, yet we were provided with many different experiences -- a visit to the wildlife park, chocolate tasting, cheese tasting, lunch, beer tasting, multiple wine tastings. All smoothly organized. But what really... More

Very laid back approach to touring Hunter Valley wine country. Tour starts at a wildlife preserve where you can get up close and personal with the native animals Australia is known for kangaroos, emus, wallabies, and koalas -- dingos can be viewed as well but they kept in enclosed pens for obvious reasons. Interspersed between chocolate and cheese tastings are... More

I highly recommend this tour. Sam made every effort to make the tour as enjoyable as possible. He took all the hassle out of getting lunch and even customised the tastings to best accommodate our group's preferences. The van was clean and comfortable and the group size made it quick to load and unload at each stop. The wildlife experience... More

Wow! What a great tour! This was different than any other tour I've been on because it was actually a relaxing tour. I didn't feel like we were go, go, go all day (although we ended up doing quite a lot!). We got a chocolate tasting, cheese tasting, two wine tastings, and a beer tasting. We started our day by... Wine, wildlife, cheese, chocolate, beer, more wine and the cheesiest of jokes.....what's not to love? Our tour included more than originally expected and Sam was a brilliant host for the day. For less than £60 we had a fun filled, informative day and was money and time very well spent. 100% recommend you take this tour Helen & Claire -... More
