From the bottom of my heart this truly was one of the best experiences ever with Sydney Harbour Boat Tours whale watching safari. This tour had everything you could imagine with a few surprises along the way and as a Sydney local I could not believe what we witnessed.
As we experienced this in July we witnessed the northern migration of the majestic hump pack whales during this expedition. Experienced skipper Zane and owner Mark are the ultimate hosts and we had such a fun day with them. We zipped through stunning Sydney harbour and outside the heads and within minutes we spotted whales.
The whales are very cruious and as we kept our distance the whales approached us and we could not believe how close they came to the boat. This was a once on a lifetime experience for me. We were also blessed with seeing some of the most incredible coastline outside the heads and were able to also see seals, dolphins and albatross birds. Mark and Zane also took us over to Manly's Shelly beach for a unique perspective on one of Sydney's most iconic beaches.
This whale safari had everything and as a Sydney local I was so impressed with the service, quality of the vessel and the amount of wildlife we were able to see up close

It’s not hard to see why this company has almost 100% 5⭐️ reviews. I booked a 3-hour private charter for 8 family members which included my elderly parents, niece and nephew. It was absolutely perfect! Zane was amazing at looking after everyone and making the day super special! We found a great spot for lunch and a swim, and explored lots of hidden beaches be coves. I’ve now got a great list of secret beaches to visit.

What a super way to spend 2.5 hours of ur day. Elodie and Zane were delightful. Lots of knowledge and so friendly. We were a small group of 8 and spent time away from the main big touristy things. We did a small beach for a walk or swim. You can only reach it by boat and it was so pretty. Then we stopped at a museum for a morning coffee and cake break. Thank you so much. Love to support local family businesses

Amazing crew and a very cool boat. Third time out on Spectre, this time watching the start of the 2019 Sydney to Hobart yacht race from inside the action. Our skipper kept his cool and secured all the best positions to enjoy this incredible spectacle. Mark and his crew are a very professional and friendly team to work with.

I booked the Sydney Icons, Bays and Beaches tour to see the Q Station in Manly and as a different way to see the Harbour. This tour was awesome, being just the right speed on the water (never too fast) and being able to enter the different bays because of being on a smaller boat. I truly never knew there are so many small beaches and bays in Sydney Harbour. Tyler was an excellent guide, full of info and history of the various bays we entered. I ended up on the tour solo and am happy that I was still given 1st class treatment on a comfortable boat. I always suggest you see the Harbour from the water, the Sydney Harbour Boat Tours was the best way I've seen it.

We had the most amazing afternoon sunset private charter on Spectre. The whole afternoon was personalised to what we wanted to do after having a conversation with the team. We were picked up outside our hotel on Darling Harbour and then toured around, went for a swim had a few drinks and snacks on board. Cruised around watching the sunset and then dropped off at an amazing beachside restaurant booked by the team.
We have two young boys who were totally spoilt with attention by the captain and they loved every minute of the day. Can’t recommend this company highly enough! Thank you!

Received a recommendation from our concierge at the Four Seasons in Sydney and booked immediately. This was a wise decision on our part.
Our tour was with Zane, who was amazing and 8 others who had a great time as well.
Zane was very knowledgeable about the area and history of this city and we ended with a greater appreciation for the City of Sydney and Australia as a whole.
We will definitely book another tour upon our return!

We enjoyed a fantastic private 4 hour tour of Sydney Harbor with Captain Zane. It was incredible seeing the various bays from a 37’ boat with informative history and current events. We had a tasty seafood and sandwiches lunch with good conversation and wine. We enjoyed a swim in a quiet bay. Seeing the harbor entrance was fun too. He pointed out some wonderful natural areas. It was a glorious afternoon on the water with Sydney Harbor Boat Tours!

Fabulous private charter skippered by Zane who was very friendly, informative, professional and flexible with our destinations. Very good boat and a great way to see the harbour sites and have a swim in some amazing harbourside locations. Thoroughly reccomend this tour !

This is the second year we've done this and it's a beautiful, hassle free way to see the harbour and catch up with friends. Our skipper Zane was friendly, helpful and has an amazing knowledge of Sydney Harbour. Whether you've just arrived in Sydney or lived here all your life, you can't go wrong with this tour.

Very interested in the penguin colony, but there are no pictures of it and nobody mentions it in the reviews. Do you view them from the boat? How close do you get? Coming in mid-January.

Hi Julie,
We visit Store Beach in Sydney Harbour National Park, which is the home of the Manly Little Penguins, however, there are only about 50 pairs and they leave their burrows at sunrise and return at sunset, so we don't see them on land. We do occasionally see them in the water (we saw one last week!) but it is probably every 8-10 tours so we don't advertise it as a penguin spotting tour. We do see fur seals sometimes and the occasion pod of dolphins, so it's more about getting a taste of nature, with some history, culture and traditional sight-seeing along the way. There's always something new and interesting on these tours.

Are your tours all all-day? Will be two or four of us - interested in either Sat, 31-Oct or Sun, 01-Nov., 2015. I've seen lots of reviews (all good I see!) but am having trouble finding time and what is included. Are their senior discounts? Can you send a link to exactly what is included and the time it departs/returns? It sounds like something we'd be quite interested in.
