Was really nice to sail around Sydney harbour and "race" other boats in our group. Unfortunately, our group didn't order the food and drink package. I would have thought complimentary bottled water would been provided onboard considering it was a 4-hour outing, but no such luck! It would have been nice for someone from EastSail to have mentioned this before... More

Our sail in Sydney Harbour was our first activity in Australia. It was such a fantastic beginning, all of our other activities were hard pressed to match the experience. Our skipper, George, was fantastic. None of us have ever sailed, so he made us comfortable and shared information about the Sydney sites as we navigated into the harbor, under the... More

My friend bought this as a present for my husband and myself. I know I am a bit spoilt but a few things were disappointing. The boat itself was very nice. The 2 hour drive around the harbour also beautiful. When the 2hrs finished I was waiting for the seafood platter chocolates and strawberries that were promised. We docked and... More

Our travel agent booked us on a cruise around Sydney harbour. OK we thought. Big boat. Other people. Typical harbour cruise. Right. Wrong. Arrived at rushcutters bay and found out that we were going to cruise on a sail boat. We had never sailed before. What a great experience. What a way to see Sydney harbour. And it ended up... More

I had my experience with a small group for a christmas party for a late friday afternoon sail around the harbour. Coming onto the boat, I was a complete newbie and unaware on how to sail or handle the boat during movement. We were very to have very experienced and helpful staff that told us everything we needed to know... More

My husband has periodically raced one design sail boats and wanted to sail while we were in Sydney. However he was specific - - "I want to actually sail, not sight see." He got his wish ! We chartered a boat (with skipper) for 3 hours. We sailed out of the EastSail Rushcutters Bay Marina on a Sunday morning and... More

We booked last minute and our Skipper George gave up his Good Friday afternoon to take us out for a few hours. What a truly fabulous experience and worth the expense. George was the perfect Skipper, used to teaching, he allowed the kids to get stuck in, always chilled and full of fun. Very knowledgeable, interesting and professional, keeping an... More

We hired a Dufour 36P for a staff day out and had the best time. The boat was virtually brand new and and perfectly set up for charter and very easy to sail. In fact I was suprised at how well it performed. The Eastsail staff were great and the induction to the boat extremely professional. Rushcutters Bay is a... More

My friends and I, who all love the water were stuck for ideas of what to do for my birthday and they all chipped in for a chartered yacht cruise. It was a fantastic day and full of laughs. The team at Eastsail, made the day super fun. Our skipper was great (was brave enough to let me steer!) and... More

I took a course a few years back with Eastsail and haven't been off the water since. The instructors are all well experienced and good trainers that make the time fun. Since then I've done a few of the Eastsail programs including racing around the Whitsunday's at Hamilton Island and you never get sick of the summer twilights on the... More
