We had a great time exploring this art gallery. Wonderful that it's free, too! Some very interesting and unusual items. Recommended.

If you've been looking for a contemporary chinese art museum with underlying tones of classism and eurocentrism, this place is perfect for you! Some of the staff who were on were rude and down right stuck up. Admittedly, my friend and I were taking quite...More

Did the (free) 11am tour today with this absolutely vivacious, engaging and fabulous guide. Absolutely recommended. Even with a patient 12-year-old.

Had a really nice visit here the current exhibit was both approachable and thought provoking. The gift shop offered some fun quirky loot and who can pass up homemade dumplings with a wide choice of hard to get Chinese teas mmmm

Its a nice asian gallery and near central station. The entry was free and you must keep your bag to the staff. My memorable moment there is you can play video games with very wide screen in one of the room in the gallery. ....More

A fabulous building, really knowledgeable guides, and totally fascinating exhibitions (two per year). Nice teahouse and little shop on site.

One of the biggest collections of contemporary Chinese art outside of China, a privately owned museum with an extraordinary collection. Excellent little cafe downstairs, check opening times on-line as they sometimes close for installation.

An extraordinary exhibition of contemporary art from China, in particular a video installation -- quite challenging! And the dumplings are as good as ever! Lovely gallery for a leisurely couple of hours which still makes you think.

This is not your ordinary art gallery. It is always stimulating and often challenging. It is privately funded, showing young emerging artists from China. Be prepared to think about what is presented to you. Never ever boring.
