I can honestly say that compared to other escape rooms, the quality of the room we did was fantastic! We tried out "The Forgotten Son" and we were seriously impressed.
The atmosphere is quite creepy and you can tell a lot of thought, creativity and care was put into creating the environment. We had so much fun!
Our Game Master was Sabina and she was incredibly helpful. It's always nice when you're greeted and guided by friendly people who make the experience seamless. Thanks for having us!

Loved the experience! Would totally recommend this for everyone. We did Kingdom Besieged and it was so good, fantastic to do with your great friends like I did! The puzzles were challenging yet entertaining, it really tested our patience and collaborative skills! Would really recommend this room for escape room for everyone and their friends! Special thanks to our game master Sue who was very friendly and engaging! Her hints were clear but also did not make them obvious, we even bantered around afterwards. Thank you so much Sue!!!

The Redfern location is a little hard to spot but when you head in, take a moment to appreciate how nice the place is set up. Teresa was our guide and did such a good job! there were many little tricks that she and the team did to make the experience so memorable.
the props and attention to detail within the room were of an exceptionally high degree and lived up to my expectation from past reviews.
Definitely do it!

We recently got engage at Expedition Sydney! My girlfriend and I have been doing escape rooms since we first got together and I thought it would be a good surprise. The staff was amazing and definitely went above and beyond to make the proposal a truly memorable one. They opened the room over the holiday period especially for us!!!!! A special thanks to Lindasay, Damien and Lee On who worked behind the scenes to organize and make things run smoothly. We also really enjoyed the room – good puzzles with mechanical locks which we much prefer compared to locks and keys.

We did The Forgotten Son today and was really impressed with the theming, atmosphere, and puzzles. Our GM Maddie was awesome and accommodating. If you're going try only one room at Expedition, this is definitely the one (unless you are scared of creepy atmospheres and a few mild jump scares).

For our first time at Expedition Sydney, my friends and I opted to go for The Forgotten Son. The entire escape room journey needed a lot of collective brainpower, but the setup was immersive and the challenges incredibly rewarding. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A big thank you too to Dan for being a great game master!

Our family group of five adults completed the Lost Son escape room at Redfern. It was lots of fun, with a good variety of puzzles. The settings had lots of details, and our most experienced group member said this was his favourite escape room experience.
It had a great creepy feel without being too scary. Our host knew just when to give us a helping clue. We made it out with three minutes to spare! We’re planning to come back and try out the other room at Redfern.

My friends and I have done an Expedition Syd escape room before and we adored it.
The puzzles were creative and just challenging enough to work the brain cells.
Sue guided us when we were hyperfixating on the wrong thing and helped us through with helpful and enlightening clues (of course without giving anything away).
We had been waiting a while for the Kingdom Besieged room to be released and it was so worth the wait!
No spoilers but we had 5 minutes left on the time and our sword obsessed friend would not put it in its rightful place because she wanted to hold onto it for as long as possible.
Luckily for her, Sue offered to hold a mini photoshoot for us. The power of holding a hefty sword is undeniably addictive.
Can't wait to try their others room in Gladesville!

Forgotten son was great fun! Atmospheric and the set has a lot of great touch and attention to detail. Game Master Sabina was very attentive to our game and really elevated our experience. Having having played 10+ room in Sydney this is top tier. We look forward to trying the other games

Great time. We spent three times as long reviewing the puzzles afterwards so it is a fun afternoon all up.
Physical and mental puzzles. Lots of combination locks with words and numbers. Finding hidden treasures and collaborative puzzles. Clever design features and a twist we had not experienced before.
We also completed the challenge of Kingdom besieged. So satisfying for the 3 of us
