The area
Address
Neighbourhood: The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.

    Twilight climb
I am so glad that I did this climb in winter (July) and at twilight. I think that made the experience just perfect. The weather was ideal for a climb. We started in daylight, watched the sunset as we crossed the top, and came down in the dark. The climb itself is not strenuous at all. There are just 4 or 5 steep ladders and the rest is just easy steps. Our guide, Bree, did a great job managing it all. The entire system is well organized. Thank you.

Probably the most adventurous thing I’ve ever done
We did the Summit Twilight 3:15 tour, and it was a perfect time IMO. The sun was just setting and the sky was changing color at the moment pictures were taken. Much of the 3 hours was spent on suiting up and safety protocols. Our guide Elody was great. She took very good care of us.

Bridge Climb Sydney-a ‘must do’ experience
This may be expensive but it is worth every dollar. It really is a ‘must do’ in Sydney. The whole operation is professional from beginning to end. The entire team are friendly, helpful, fun and knowledgable. We were welcomed and assisted at base by Josh and our guide to the summit was Jess. They were both amazing and made the whole experience incredible. It really wasn’t scary or difficult and was worth the climb for the views from high above the harbour. It is hard to describe this adventure in words or even the great pictures taken on the climb by the leader. The best way to understand the experience is to do it yourself. So get on the bridge and climb and make this iconic memory of Sydney for yourself.

    Must-do experience in Sydney!
Our Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb was incredible! Intan was our guide for the climb, and she was fantastic. During our climb, she combined humor and her wealth of knowledge of the bridge and its history to enhance our experience, without overshadowing the breathtaking views. The climb itself was exhilarating, offering stunning views of the Sydney skyline and harbor. Intan captured some beautiful pictures to commemorate our experience that we will cherish for years to come. The Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb was a bucket list level, must-do activity for us, and Intan's guidance made it even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure in Sydney!

    Do not miss
This was an awesome experience except for the lack of photo. They do not let you take any electric devices with you on the climb. Yes, a photo was available in a digital package for $32 but given the price of the ticket, you would think ONE digital pict would not be asking too much. The staff and the guide on my climb were excellent. They are ALL about safety, from the Breathalyzer you take and the suite you wear. The safety precautions are in place from start to finish. The climb is not difficult and very well paced. The view is spectacular. The 360 Panorama from the top gives you a look at Sydney like no other. The photo thing a side, this is a bucket list item that is not to be missed.

    "Alright my climbers!"
Amazing experience with incredible views ! Staff were great, safety is paramount! Our guide was fun and informative while putting us all at ease. That said it is very expensive and if we weren't on honeymoon I'm not sure we would have paid that price!

    Great experience but overpriced
A great experience but i.m.o significantly overpriced. We were lucky and had booked for what turned out to be a lovely day, not sure it would have been so enjoyable if the weather had been at all inclement. Quite a lot of 'procedure' at both start and finish, which I think could easily be streamlined, probably designed to 'create an experience', fill the time and give the impression that you are getting value for money. Pretty sure the the whole thing could be done in less time, but of course then the price would feel more excessive. Overall the walk / climb wqas much easier than I imagined it would be. For obvious reason they do not allow you to take your camera or mobile phone on the walk, but they then have the cheek to charge approx $50 to download the photos they take of you. Given the cost of the 'tour' these should at least be included. To summarise, expensive but worth doing on a nice day

    The best Sydney experience
Absolutely loved the bridge climb. Ian, our guide, was so knowledgeable and went at the perfect pace. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity with spectacular views across the harbour. I would recommend the summit tour. The time went by so quickly.

    Amazing Views
If you visit Sydney, this experience is an absolute must. It was amazing. We prebooked the trip months ago to ensure we got on it, we were on the 9.25am walk. I'd definitely advise that you book on an early walk due to the heat. We checked in and did our health questionnaire and provided ID (luckily, we had our driving licences on us as ID requirements were not shown on our booking confirmation). We moved into a room to watch the safety briefing and then got ready in one of the suits they provided along with a harness and accessories. You can't take anything on the walk with you. If you need an asthma inhaler, it can be given to your guide who will carry it for you. We had a great guide called Michael (Scottish guy), he was really entertaining all through the walk, he even remembered everyone's names, there were 13 of us on this walk. The guide took all the photos for everyone, you can buy the pack and download it via QR code or visiting their website. I'm scared of heights but I wanted to do the climb to see the views, which are truly amazing and well worth the panic of climbing up the ladders at the beginning and the end of the climb.

Go for it. You will love it!
This was one amazing experience! The views are so very cool! I was a little worried about how hard the climb might be because my knees are not the greatest. I am happy to report that being older and having bad knees is no real issue. These guys run a really great (safe) tour! There are so many prep steps and safety protocols to go through before you even get out on the bridge, that you are at ease with the process when it is time to go. It is a bit pricey, but well worth the money in my opinion. You are not allowed to take any personal effects on the bridge (except for necessary medication), so bring as little as possible with you. We got rained on the second half of the climb, but that did not really damper the fun our group had. They provide rain jackets in the event you need them. The guides are amazing and great at what they do. If you have any issues or concerns, they will go above and beyond to make your climb enjoyable. Climb this bridge! You will love it!

This was an awesome experience. My husband was nervous but Ian (our wonderful guide) put him at ease and he happily completed the walk/climb without issue. The safety precautions in place and the time taken to ensure that everyone understood what was happening made all of the difference.
The views!! WOW!!!! We were lucky as it was a clear day. We could see to the Blue Mountains to the West and the sea line out East. It was an experience like no other.
We were also with a 17 year old - who loved the experience as well. Whilst we are all fit, it was not overly difficult to navigate this climb. I would strongly recommend this activity.

BridgeClimb Sydney was An Unforgettable Awesome Experience! All of the BridgeClimb Crew I ran into were Super nice from Susan, Rhiana,Jordan, and my absolutely Amazing and kind Climb Leader Karen who took good Care of me all the way up and Down and made sure I had the best time. I have wanted to do Bridge Climb for long time. So it meant so much to me that it exceeded my expectations. The Climb is a workout but it really wasn’t too bad and the heights really didn’t get to me. The views are Amazing too! Thanks BridgeClimb Sydney for an Experience I won’t forget!

Everything about this activity was great! Our guide, Jess, was super friendly and very informative the entire time. We had a couple nervous people in our group before we started, but there was not a single moment that anyone felt unsafe. It is an extremely well-run operation: preparing you for the climb is done step-by-step so that no detail is missed, and even some details we were not expecting (cloth to wipe your face of sweat while climbing, a hat for shade...and everything attached to your suit). The guides are connected to headquarters who are monitoring the weather making sure to keep visitors safe. And once you start the climb, the views and the feeling are incredible! Everyone in the group LOVED this day and would highly recommend it, even those that were skeptical of the height!
