I travelled to many countries and took part in many day trip/week trip/month trip organised by professionals.
I can assure you that Ben Walters is truly an excellent tour leader and you will not be disappointed. Not only he is very professional, making you are taken care of and get the best of your experience; he is also very friendly, always positive and available to answer any questions you might have.
Ben’s passion for guiding and his expertise is truly inspiring.
I would VERY highly recommend any trips organised by Ben, you are 100% guaranteed to have a fantastic time and make great memories!

I was lucky enough to have Ben act as a tour guide for me on a 12 day Europe coach tour. As this was out first tour, we were a bit hesitant. Well, we need not have worried! From the outset Ben made us all feel welcome and clearly communicated how we were going to get through the next 12 days and 11 countries as a happy tour group. With Ben's easy going nature and he's excellent knowledge of the tour itinerary, each day was a breeze. Leading into the major stops we were given history presentations, city lectures and the usual tour guiding tips to enable us to see as much as we could. Of a night, we went out as a group to some fine restaurants that Ben had come to know. After dinner we were given information regrading nightlife and activities and provided with easy to remember information about how to get back to the hotel. Ben leaves no stone unturned. Managing a coach load of people from different nationalities through 11 countries in 12 days takes skill, determination, committment and definitely a sense of adventure. Ben has all these attributes in spades. Watching Ben lay out on his hotel room floor passports and matching them to room keys was like watching a big kid putting a jigsaw puzzle together. He amazed me. He knew where ebrything was and went and matched them in no time. This man is made for tour leading. I cannot recommend Ben enough. You will need to go far and wide to find a guy like Ben. Whatever he turns his hand to in the tourism field, he'll be a definite success. If you get a chance to trvel with Ben - do it, you'll have an awesome and memorable time!

My daughters and I spent 3.5 weeks on a group tour with Ben traveling Europe a few years ago. He was an amazing guide and was able to relate extremely well within the group, which had a varied age range from 12-65. My girls who where the youngest on the tour enjoyed Bens funny side and he incorporated them well into the wider group so they felt included in activities. If there was a tour that he though the girls would probably not enjoy or maybe a little inappropriate he would give me a heads up or offer another suggestion. Now he has started his own business I believe he will show just as much Knowledge, passion, joy and excitement running tours around Australia and his home ground around the Hunter Valley. I hope to visit one day and enjoy touring with Ben in the future.

It's a big call, but this was the best winery tour I've ever been on.
Being a huge vino lover I've been lucky enough to explore wine regions around the world, but my experience with Walters Tours was the most special. The weather was beautiful (always helps), the selection of Cellar Doors visited was varied and perfect, the vehicle was luxurious with a built in esky - a great touch, the lunch was delish and the cherry on top was the guide Ben - he was charming, funny, knowledgeable, great company, and a good looking rooster if I've got to say.
I didn't have time to explore other parts of the region, but Ben spoke about the other sites to see and his other trips so passionately that I'm going to have to go back and see for myself.

We traveled with Ben for two weeks in Oct 2019 and very much enjoyed his expertise and knowledge about the area. Also his patience, but most of all his sense of humor. All of our group loved him and that is saying something when dealing with a bunch of well traveled people who have known other travel leaders in the past. Well done Ben

Ok, so, truth be told, I am not usually one for hiring a guide when I travel and boy, was I proven wrong.
To see Ben’s homeland through his eyes was absolutely top class, you can not only tell he is passionate about the country but also absolutely 100% cares about his job and the people he meets through it. I learned a lot, laughed a lot, saw a lot and really felt like I mad a proper local friend.
Ben, you have my word I will be back once I am allowed... and I will be bringing more people with me next time. Thanks so much for opening up my eyes Walters Tours.

I had a lovely experience with Walters Tours and it was so easy to lose track of time.
I am writing a review here so as to leave some advice for any future visitors/tourists wishing to book a tour around this amazing wine country.
I went in my first ever wine tour with these guys and had an absolutely brilliant day. The wineries they selected were amazing, the drives between them were full of good tunes, and our whole group had good times. It’s obvious that Ben and Walters Tours have a real passion for this and they helped make our day so much more enjoyable than anyone else could.
If you do opt for a tour I would recommend only going with Walters Tours — very good prices and wonderful, highly knowledgeable making a wonderful atmosphere for all. Thank you! xoxo

A few years ago, whilst on a coach tour through continental Europe, my cousins and I had the pleasure of meeting Ben, our guide. The trip was fantastic for many reasons and one of the major reasons why we still fondly remember the trip has to be having Ben as the guide. He was so approachable, friendly, responsible and most of all so so fun to be around. He made the whole group feel at ease whilst getting us all excited in the party spirit. Highly recommend any tour that Ben is guiding on! All the best!

Ben is the kind of tour guide you need when abroad in a foreign country. He is funny, easily approachable and very knowledgeable about what he does. He's a calming influence if you're the kind to experience any sort of travel anxiety. I met Ben while he was still a tour guide in Europe and he made the tour memorable by group bonding ice breakers like singing a song if you were late on the bus. Every morning he would have a list of what the day would look like that was very detailed orientated. When I eventually go visit Australia I'll definitely take a tour with Ben. I can not recommend anyone more than him.

My wife and I toured Australia with Ben and found him to be quite knowledgeable about the culture and especially the natural wonders the varied micro-environments of Australia offers. Ben was very approachable and had a wonderful sense of humor. I was impressed at how well he read people and addressed their questions and concerns. He was at ease addressing sensitive questions of culture and problems that face Australia. In all, an excellent introduction to Australia and a very enjoyable experience. If opportunity affords, spend some time with Ben. You will be richer for it.
