Manly beach is worth visiting, if not for the beach which as 2 sides: 1 facing the harbor/bay and the other facing the ocean. The area is nice with some interesting shops. The ride there is a good way to see the Sydney bay.

Everyone who comes to Sydney should do the Manley Ferry. In a rush? Get the fast ferry and sneak a beer on the way. Views are great and there is Manley at the end

Helpful, prioritised service for wheelchair users from Manly Ferry staff. Ramp access is generally ok, however caution required when using.

This is a really great way to see Sydney from the river and get to Manly. We went on a Sunday and with the Opal cards the fee is capped at $2.50

We bought an Opal card and used it to take the ferry to Manly. Manly was very cute with lots of shops, but the beach was the best part. We were there in June (their winter) so the water was a bit chilly, but we...More

Slow and a little tired, the Manly ferry is still a great way to see Sydney harbour. Can get quite bumpy when the swell is up. Sit outside up front for the best view of the harbour bridge and opera house coming back to Sydney.
