It was my brother who found Dave's website. We wanted a flexible Blue Mountain tour that can accommodate us instantly as we don't have enough time left in Sydney. Luckily Dave answered our inquiry right away. Private flexi tour went well, he arrived on time in our hotel, friendly guy and instantly he started giving us trivia about the places we wanted to see, he also suggested some places to maximize our day and see as many as we can. He offered free bottled water for all, tea and some snacks. He accompanied us up to the queue of the rides we wanted to experience ( sky cable etc). We even get entrance discount bec of him. At the end of the day, kids told bought him an ice cream bec they said he was a nice guy and we are very greatful to have met him. We never felt like being strangers with him. He's a real deal! Surely when we comeback and we need a tour guide or a ride, we will not think twice to get his services again. His personal touring services is one of the finest we've had so far. 👌🏽👍🏽

Having had to wait nearly 3 years (Covid!) to visit Sydney, this tour with David was well worth the wait. He took us to hidden away gems to see amazing sights with very little in the way of crowds. The tour is very flexible and was planned totally around what we wanted to get out of the day. We would highly recommend Escape Scenes and felt it was very good value for money.

We only had a day in Sydney and decided to book this private tour to the Blue Mountains. We are so glad that we did! David, our tour guide and owner of Escape Scenes was fantastic. He is super flexible depending upon what you want to see and what is important. He adjusts the itinerary to meet your goals. We were able to see everything that was important to us without the headache of a large tour group. We would highly recommend this tour!

Due to the fires and torrential rains in Sydney, it was a last minute decision to take a Blue Mountains tour, and we are so glad we booked it with Escape Scenes. David is perhaps the best guide we have ever had. The tour was tailored to our needs, not a preset itinerary or schedule, which we really appreciated. David took us to some of the more obscure venues in the Blue Mountains inaccessible to tour busses. Many times were were the only people there. He was incredibly knowledgeable, informative and enthusiastic. This was a highlight of our trip. I highly recommend Escape Scenes for any private or small group tour around Sydney.

Excellent day touring the blue mountains. We saw the 3 sisters. Had many photos. Had a cider tasting stopped for little apple pies and saw spectacular views. David was fantastic and taught us a lot including the Australian slang. He had tremendous enthusiasm and worked around Road closures and our very specific goals to accomplish a great tour. Would definitely recommend going with David. Research ahead of time to see what interests you He even took us through feather dale personally. to see the kangaroos the wombats and even a crocodile Comfortable van also

Thank you for your wonderful feedback guys. It was an adventure this day I remember running all over the place in search of Kangaroos in the wild. We did get to see them in the park after all. We had some great conversations, I always love learning about people and this is a great way of doing so.

My husband and I only had one day to visit the Blue Mountains from downtown Sydney, and booking a private tour with Escape Scenes was a wise choice. We booked it on-line from Vancouver, Canada one week in advance and all went smoothly and as planned.
If you are thinking of booking a private tour to the Blue Mountains from Sydney, go for it with Escape Scenes! David, bussiness owner, will be your driver and guide.
David picked us early in the morning from our hotel and dropped us back in the evening, which was really convenient. His profesionalism was outstanding the whole trip. He is passionated about what he does and we could not have chosen a better travel companion.
David took the time to learn about our expectations and accomodate our requests. He was knowledgeable about the area, with excellent driving skills, and super friendly. He tried to avoid the crowds as much as possible and showed us a couple spots outside the mainatream.

We had a great day touring the Blue Mountains with David. Even though the weather did not cooperate David went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our time. He customized the tour to accommodate all our different abilities and interests. He even went out of his way at the end of the tour to show us a few extra sites as we came back into Sydney including driving us across the bridge twice! He shared his expansive knowledge of the area and made us feel very comfortable.

Knowing most of my guests have limited time in Sydney to see the sights, I always strive to deliver a unique experience for them. I enjoy that my tours are more of a conversation rather than me simply rattling off commentary. Amazing trip planned on the spot thanks to his recommendations we avoided the crowds. He Made us fell very comfortable not only for his skills as a tour guide, photographer, babysitter ;) (he looked after our girls while they were a slept in the car) but also with his tips and interesting explanations. Every penny spent on the trip was worthy. Not only we visited the blue mountains but also a petting zoo and a charming little village were we could stroll around at the middle of our trip to rest a bit :)) thanks David you made an amazing job.

This was such an incredible day! David, our guide, was extremely punctual with our pick up and very thorough with explaining how the tour would progress. He was open with the planning and welcomed any suggestions to make the tour more personalized to our wants and expectations. David is very easy to get along with and even found me a Starbucks to start the day with my required dose of caffeine. The conversation flowed easily and his knowledge of the history of the area seemed endless. He is a skilled driver and made us feel comfortable despite the fact we are not used to driving on the left side of the road! The stops on the tour were spectacular and afforded us breathtaking views of a lifetime. We were able to enjoy sights, away from the hustle and bustle of large tour groups. We spotted some rare wildlife that would not have been possible in a large group. This private experience is definitely worth exploring. His added tips and suggestions for the remainder of our vacation, along with his photography expertise, were just wonderful added bonuses to an already amazing day. We began the day as strangers, but parted as friends. My only regret is that I can only rate 5 stars as this tour truly deserves double that!

Thank you Tanya for your wonderful comments. The freedoms of a private tour like this enables us to go to Starbucks for that much-needed coffee fix. We spotted a snake even though my initial thoughts were that sightings were unlikely. We had some laughs and this is what makes this sort of touring memorable. Thank you again for your feedback its an essential for our young business and I'm so glad it was a highlight of your trip to Australia.
