Explore Sydney on a Private Walking Tour in English, Chinese Mandarin, French, Spanish, German or Dutch to show you the best sights, introduce you to the incredible culture and history as well as share our tips on the greatest and most affordable places to go. Our most popular tours are: "Sydney History and Sights" "The Rocks - Murders, Mysteries and Ghosts" Each tour lasts for approximately 2.5 - 3 hours and includes a 10-15 minute break along the way. Prices* are as follows: 1-4 persons $200 total 5-10 persons $200 for the first four plus $35 for each extra person 10+ people - contact us. *Prices include a coffee or soft drink at any of the amazing cafes we pass by.

April is an amazing history teller. We learnt so much in one day! This tour is highly recommendable to anyone interested in Australian history.

I enjoy doing a walking tour whenever I visit a new city and researched a few options for my recent trip to Sydney. I selected Welcome Walking Tours for its excellent reviews and outstanding customer service. It far exceeded my already high expectations! Gino was responsive and accommodating as I organized a tour for 25 people. The tour itself was excellent. Gino was friendly, witty, and knowledgeable. He brought history to life as we wandered through the CBD and answered all of our questions. The tour offered valuable background and history that gave me a new appreciation of my surroundings for the remainder of my visit. He also provided some tips for further exploration of Sydney! Must do in Sydney!

Gino did a great job in keeping the tour casual. He shared a lot about the local history. He even went the extra mile and took a photo of the group and emailed it to us all. I would definitely recommend this tour. It is free, so you have nothing to lose; check it out!

Good pace, main sites in Sydney but also some hiden places. Tour guide offers you details about the city and is always taking into consideration the mood of the tourist.

The guide on our walking tour was charming and had a great sense of humour . She knew her stuff and answered all the question ask of her. I would take any tour if she was the guide.

Very good tour - a lot of history - the accent a minor problem- at times the traffic and crowds made for muffled hearing - a mic would have helped

Marie was an awesome guide, we learnt so much about the Sydney centre! It was a great mix of history, must see places and where to dine out (Marie tailored it to the interests of the group). We would recommend this to everyone in and visiting Sydney.

I loved the Tour. Even tho we were a big group and the town was crouded coz of Boxing Day Boris was a really good Tour Guide. I really enjoyed listening to what he said and he gave us some nice insider tips - definitely worth it!

Hi, my kids speaks very good in English and my wife. If your mother dont speak you can translate o you can get a tour in your language. In my case the tour was in english but sometimes I said the person speaks more slow. The dont have problems.

Sorry I did not respond to this question yesterday.
In regards to tips, we really want all travellers to feel comfortable tipping what they feel it was worth.
But we do recommend that they consider what things cost in Sydney and what is the equivalent value they would put on the walking tour - e.g. the price of a drink or two, the price of a meal etc.
But everyone's budget is different and we really do want to welcome everyone!
